Title: Capcom needs to take notes from Konami
Description: RE5 needs Ryan Peyton

Man, I like RE4 as much as the next guy, and I am a big fan of the RE series in general. I've never thought the controls were as bad as everyone makes them out to be, but Capcom really needs to get some kid like Ryan to help them understand the Western gamer.

We want to use the right analog stick. I'm not saying RE5 needs to go Gears of War, but the ability to strafe when not aiming/firing would be enough of a change to satisfy me a little bit. It'd just be a more tactical and realistic way to round a corner - "slicing the pie" as some of you may know.

It would be even more awesome if we could walk and aim/shoot at the same time. I don't feel like that would turn the game into a twitch shooter, but it would provide some flexibility without ruining the methodical pace and feel of the RE series.

Ugh, anyway, stupid rant I just needed to get off my chest after seeing the RE5 interview on GT. And how arrogant is that guy, "Capcom is the best." UGH!

Well, they say they are still tweeking the controls and claim to be up with the times. They're the ones who pretty much started that whole third person over the shoulder view. They pioneered it, I'm sure they'll make it better. They don't need payton. They're perfectly fine.

...whats wrong with re4's controls? I think if RE5 is identical to re4, control wise, i'll still be a happy camper.

Wh....a? Help from Ryan Payton? Please tell me you are joking. That man has slightly hindered how amazingly hyped I am for MGS4, he is ruining MGS piece by piece.

RE doesn't need it controls improving, it has been such a popular series for a reason, its damn good. I just want more of the same.

I didn't mean they need Ryan Peyton literally, but they need their version of a Ryan Peyton; a westerner in their offices to help them tweak their game to make it a bit more appealing.

And the RE4 controls aren't bad, but they're not as good as they could be, either. Leon - and so far what they've shown of RE5 Chris controls exactly the same - feels like a tank when you control him, not an elite agent.

I like it as it is, I know it isn't completely realistic, but it makes it more tactical for the player and makes it more intense. You're either running helpless or shooting as a sitting duck.

Im not liking the new way RE5 is heading it looks too much like RE4 with the same storyline etc I want zombies not some village thats been "controlled" by some kind of cult. ugh
