Ok. I have a question, and a suggestion.

Question: Is there a special sig/rank/title for those who are 'the best artist' on the forum? I have noticed best writer.

Suggestion: Maybe a gallery? of member's fan art, awesome screenies etc etc. I know the forum is restricted to memory, and i know you can go on any old site for screenshots and fan art, but it could be quite cool if this site had some. Just a thought.

1) Yes there is. Someone was awarded Best Artist when the MGSF Awards took place last year.

2) That would sort of kill off the idea of the Fan Art sub-forum, would it not? The Fan Art sub-forum is there so people can post up their drawings etc. and we can get more in a sub-forum than we could in a gallery so it makes more sense to use the sub-forum.

I dunno, how often do people look at individual topics? Only a few that browse the forum. So what happens to topics that get neglected for months and dissapear? Some truly great art may not get seen again. If we could view all drawings in a gallery, and post under the pic or something, then all the art would be visable on our screens, and it might preserve some work...

But what you're suggesting is basically what the sub-forum does. It allows you to view the art and post comments on it. I doubt a gallery will do much other than be a clone of the Fan Art sub-forum.

Hmm, but it is different, a gallery is that, a gallery where the picture in question is always going to be visable and not lost in the reems of pages that a forum topic tends to do... But hey just a thought.
