Title: I've been meaning to get this.

Is it really worth it? I mean, how long does it last compared to the core MGS's?

VR Missions really isn't a real MGS game, more of just a training game. You just sneak around in a virtual world, shoot targets, and complete tasks. It is basically Solid Snake in training. It has no story line or plot, but is pretty fun none the less if you're a fan of the game.
So that said, the game can probably be beaten in a day or two if you're sitting there playing it for a long time. I honestly haven't played this game in a couple years, and I don't remember how long it took to beat, but it can get kinda hard, so it might take you a while. My opinion, if you're a hardcore MGS fan, it's worth buying, if not, then its probably not the game for you.

wasn't this the one were you could play as the ninja?
Zeroth - April 15, 2008 11:18 AM (GMT)
yeah you could. there's about three or four bonus missions where you can play as him.

I'd say... hell yes!!! The VR missions is one off its kind. The first game of its genre and I think its a MUST on your collection. Many VR missions, great practice for your MGS skills, plus the ninja character as you said above.
If its worth it? Absolutely.

K thanks! Imma get it. What about Ghost Babel?
MGS. - April 16, 2008 02:10 AM (GMT)
I played it and to tell you the truth I didn't like it.
Not because of the storyline or something like that... from that point of view it was just great. But I started it after finishing MGS1 and the 2D graphics spoiled my mood a little bit.
If you want it for your collection and to know everything that happened in the MG and MGS series (just to fill any blanks) just grab it! Its very cheap at this time and its a great add too.

That seems fair. Thanks.

No it's not.

No. I think Im actually one of the few people who like non-canonical stories. Its like a break.

My personal opinion on MGSVR Missions is that every mission you do there is a time attack version of it and in order to get 100% you need to complete.
Tell you the truth it's boring as hell.
It's fun but then there is a time attack version. Crap right???
