Title: Darkness 2 revealed!

Originally licensed by Majesco, but sold off to 2K Games, The Darkness is based on Top Cow's comic book series, and developed by Starbreeze Studios. Knowing its background it comes as no surprise that during the TOP COW discussion panel at this weekend's NY Comic-con, it was revealed that The Darkness 2 is in the works, "We can't say Darkness and video game sequel in the same sentence, so Darkness. Wink. Sequel."

Good stuff.

I honestly haven't even finished the first one yet. At the time of buying it I also bought COD4 and Assassin's Creed, and after playing those two games I never really got back into The Darkness. What I have beaten of it has been pretty sick, though.
Going to hell was good stuff. I still haven't found out what happens with that giant plow or whatever it is  I've only been to hell twice. I'm assuming you must go there at least once more before the game's over to finish what you started.
I'll have to hurry up and finish the first one so I can be caught up for the sequel ^_^

I loved the 1st one and enjoyed the craziness of it all, really looking forward to a sequel although I have no idea what the story arch will be.

Good to see The Darkness is getting another sequel. :D

LOL @ the link in Luke's post! It's quite true.
I really liked the whole WW1 setting when you go to hell. I really thought it gave one of the best representations of war in a video game.
I would have to agree. WWI was brutal and should be represented more in video games.
The truth.

It can't be the Truth since his reviews are supposed to be humorous. Either that or he just shouldn't play games, since he lacks the ability to complete simple objectives.

Couldn't say it better myself. But hey the kids love all his wacky reviews.

Yahtzee is a good journalist, guys. He's a good games reviewer.

iAn is right though, sometimes he sacrafices actually reviewing the game properly for humour..since that is zero punctuations selling point. But the deal with that Darkness demo, is that it was just a tester video he made himself before he'd even been signed up for any games company to do proper reviews. Thats what got him his job. It was done purposefully as more of a muck around than it was a serious review.

On the subject of Darkness, I didn't like it much myself. But then again, I only played the demo =/. I might pick up a second hand copy and try it out again.
