no worries, its called MK II
Helikaon - April 30, 2008 07:07 PM (GMT)
Metal Gear MK II. Although it isn't only Otacon's, Sunny helped develop it.

I think it would have been better if it was more "vicious". With some weapons attatched to it.

yh its kool idea, dus it have like a playable part to it tho?

yeah you can control it saw it in the 15 min demo, you can use it to scout ahead but it's only got a limited range. only weapon on it is a stun shocker type of thing.

I'm assuming it does, since I played as Mk. II online in MGO.
I was so damn amused, it was great. :D

Yeah. You can control the Mk. II during your mission to scout in front of you, stun the enemies, store weapons and ammo and also use it for gun laundry with Drebin via the DP (Drebin Points). MG Mk. II can also be controlled during the mission briefings, scout around the plane and find "hidden content" around there.

The best thing about Mk. II - Snake uses a PS3 controller to control it :P

Then it would be out of character. Otacon hates science being used as a weapon and Sunny is against violence.
I like it as it is, its Metal Gear being used in a non-"Blow up the world" way.

I understand that but I just think if Otacon had placed a gun of some sorts on it. Perhaps it could even protect Snake in a bad situation.

Well sure, they could place a tranq dart on there for long range attacks, like Snake says; A little beauty sleep doesn't hurt anyone, or something like that. ^_^

The only attack Mk. II has is the stunning 'cable'. It shocks the enemies and drop them unconscious. Not much of a gun but it may come in handy some times and help you out during difficult situations.

The little robot is really fun to control :) I love the stealth !
Metal-Snake - May 2, 2008 03:25 PM (GMT)
Thats great. I wonder, if an enemy saw it could it give away your location.
Metalmalitia23 - May 2, 2008 03:46 PM (GMT)
Most likely, the MKII will probobly have a limeted amount of damage it can take before it breaks er whatever. Perhaps when that happens you take it to Drebin to get it fixed.
Metal-Snake - May 2, 2008 03:51 PM (GMT)
Ah I see. So you would have to be carefull whilst controlling it. However I doubt soldiers would notice a small robot in the middle of a battle.

that little robot is kick ass and brings a lot more personality to MGS4 as a whole
