im not sure about decoy octopus... he didnt seem to make much of an impact in mgs1.... do u think he really died as donald anderson? because it is said that he can become so attatched to the person he is impersonating that he can think he is actually them...so he could be a different character in the game, even a main character, like cambell for example... just a theory... what do u think?

He died because of Foxdie as Donald Anderson. As Raven explains after you fight him.

I like the idea, but keep in mind there were 2 bodies looking like the DARPA chief, the heart attack one (Decoy Octopus was one of the targets for the heart attack) and the drained DARPA chief, the real one which Octopus used the blood of to tranform himself.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. But the one you talk to is Decoy Octopus (Foxdie) and the one when YOU are incarcerated is the real one that died from Ocelot getting too into torturing him.
