It showed Snake and Meryl's group fighting the Haven Soldiers. It was pretty cool, but too short. I laughed at the auto-aiming noob playing it though.

Auto-Aiming is a tool in the game, how does this make him a noob? Perhaps that's what the situation called for?

Nice footage but the guy talking is a complete asshole he makes the game look shit the way he's talking. You can tell he's one of them all shooting no story pricks that like to button mash the controller. He needs a good smack in the mouth :angry:

That text was hard as fucking hell to read, but I got it all except the "Cover!" and "Clear!" calls = considering that was just pointless to transcribe.

Nevertheless, I can't be sure if the above is Meryl or Ed talking (though, some of it is obvious), however, we can tell quite clearly when Akiba/Johnny is speaking. Jonathan doesn't talk - so that was easy enough.

I believe three things...

• This is fake and X-Play wants just to have a big audience that night (Once again, this is Metal Gear footage that you won't be able to find anywhere else, and we're not putting online. If you want to see the latest from the mind of Kojima, be sure to tune in to tonight's X-Play!) This looks like a lure to me, like everything else we see on the intrernet and has the same motto.
• The gameplay is old, from the game demo that we've already seen.
• This is real and definitely someone will rip it and upload it on the internet.

Either way I am not going to watch this even if it's real or not.
I believe I've seen many spoilers around and thats it for me.
I don't to spoil my excitement or the gameplay outrightly.

Well I saw it, but thought it was really boring... My hype has gone down after seing this....

They use a lot of auto aim.lol Its cool though. I would go into first person as much as possible to insure by bullets hit their mark faster.

I really hope that they don't overload this game with humor I want to play metal gear not conkers bad fur day.

You guys obviously don't watch X-Play, so it's understandable why you wouldn't get Sessler's humor. He condescends all the time, no matter what game it is or how much anticipation it has backing it, and yes, he's always talking in his monotone voice.

I guess I was a little harsh on him, I take SOME of what I said back.
I still think he sounds like a gay version of Kiefer Sutherland in 24 though..

Ehemmm. . .I believe auto aiming has been mgs's main function for quite a while now. . .Free aim was only somewhat introduced in mgs2. .but it was still mainly auto aim, what are you some halo loving FPS loving noob to mgs? sorry. . .I took exception to this

he's right. anyone who uses auto aim in mgs4 sucks. save your ammo and go for the head shots.
