MGS crossed the boundaries of logical thinking when Liquid was re-born through his arm into Ocelot's body.

Then further into the realms of sci-fi with a man who's lived for hundreds of years through photosynthesis or a a dude who shoots wasps out of his mouth.

I think most of us agree that bringing Big Boss alive could hardly make much sense. Someone go and ask Kojima about this now!

Kojima can't be stupid enough to bring Big Boss bck. Look at the guy, he doesn't look like someone who experienced 4th-degree burnings.

Besides, look at the collar. That looks like the Foxhound trenchcoat Big Boss used to wear. Perhaps we will return to a location we've waited 20 years to play, possibly through a playable flashback/nightmare?

I agree, but somehow the 'spoiler' warning always seems to have more of an attracting effect on me.

I do wonder what that area on the screen to the very right is though.

There's been so much talk about flashbacks, I'm starting to get the idea that 50% of the game is all flashbacks!

That's Otacon's plane. We've seen it many times in image previews.

The one next to that interests me more though, looks very jungle-like.

Although now that I look closer it looks like different...

Now I think about it, that looks nothing like how Big Boss should be looking as Heli pointed out, with all the burns.

It looks like the artwork done in the MGS1 game, which I assume would of been based on Big Boss from his Zanzibar years..

Um no, I doubt that it's fake.

It's not fake. Looks really legit. Me thinks it's a flashback; There are no signs of 3rd degree burns on him and he looks a bit young to be in his late 70s early 80s at present time. This is possibly a flashback to MG1 (Outer Heaven) or Zanzibar Land.

I've never played either of the MGs, so I'm more than happy to finally have the possibility for a battle with Big Boss!

After looking at the picture I feel a little bit of regret but nothing that makes me want to kill myself. I still stand by my "no Cam Clarke already ruined the game and not even an ending spoiler could top that"

At least they were right about Solidus looking exactly like him.

I hadn't even thought about that, I suppose Hayter would have to really do some voice tweaking.

Solidus (John Cygan) would make the perfect Big Boss voice.
