Alright I thought about this today and I was wondering what you guys will do. Alright will anyone here play MGO when they get MGS4? I'm not for one reason there will be douchebags online probly telling about hey I just got done killing so and so or hey did you get to this one part yet its so freaking awesome. So I dont want the story being ruined for me so I'm gonna play and beat MGS4 before I start MGO. And I hope no one in this forum will do the same thing like tell stuff about the game if they do I think they should get banned or something cause I really dont want anything ruined for me and I'm sure none of you either.

I am going to play firstly MGS4 and then MGO. I want to finish first the story and then match my skills against someone in the online game.

I believe my friend that when MGS4 is going to be released numerous posts are going to pop up like: 'Your first opinions about the game' and stuff like that.
The only thing you/we can do... don't see the topics which write "Spoiler warning for those who haven't still played the game".

Well, don't want spoilers? Stay away from the MGS4 sections. Simple as that. And play MGO AFTER you have finished MGS4.

Well yea that would be way better than someone just coming in here saying this and that and we dont want to hear about it til we beat the game.

Our MGO accounts get deleted when the beta ends, right? When MGS4 comes I want to at least get my account set up again, but not play MGO.

yes i'm definitely playing mgs4 first. i too am afraid that if i played online without finishing the game then someone would give away something. and i would be nice to level up your skills as soon as possible but regardless i would still play the game first.

I never played online before with PS2 and I'll probably won't with the PS3 either, when I have it.
I don't play that often anymore, and the only thing I play is MGS. So that also means I'm only buying a PS3 for MGS4. That's what it takes to be a MGS-fan I guess.

im gonna beat the story, the full 9 yards before going online.

though ive only seen limited trailers, online looks like an all out war. if theyres teams, the groups on here should unite lol

We dont know but I highly doubt that our accounts'll get deleted.

But i'll login to MGO, if my account needs setting up then I shall and then i'll start playing MGS4

They're not deleting accounts according to what Payton said previously but they are refreshing accounts and wiping stats so that people don't have an unfair advantage over those who didn't get into the beta.

definitely turning off my internet and playing MGS4 until i beat it :P

Yea I understand checking to see if were gonna have to start all over with our stats and stuff but after that no online for me til I beat the game. I'm glad to see all of you thinking the same thing.

MGS4 for me until i complete it and see what happens to snake i aint touching the other CD

same here, only mgs4, mgo can wait mgs4 is only one cd i think, because mgo comes on the same disk as mgs4 if you look at the pics of that gameplay in paris

When I finish the game, I'm gonna come here and post the hugest spoiler right in the topic line so it's hard to avoid. Watch out.

Then the whole forum (who hasn't yet played the game) is going to come after you and probably guarantee you a warning because big spoilers without spoiler tags is against the rules.

But mostly watch out for the first one. :P

i tink he's just messing. Yeah, I already told you I am not playing MGO until the completion of MGS4. People tried to ruin halo 3 like that, (not that the ending was good) but it is all good. I was scared someonw on the beta knew the ending so I muted all players. lol.

Beat MGS4 obviously, I've played MGO for the last few weeks and the only reason I've played it is to get used to the controls for MGS4.

Problem is, people are going to get so far ahead during the online mode when you're playing MGS4, you know the nerds. So i might do a bit of both.

Don't like very much multiplayer games they're very boring so i'll play MGS4 :thumb:

As fun as MGO is, i just cant wait to tuck in to Metal Gear Solid 4!, MGO can wait

to be honest I'm not really gonna play MGO, I only got the beta to test the controls and gameplay for MGS4. online games frustrate me too much, too competitive, i prefer story.
