Turns out the UK will get a MGS4 Limited Edition available in the UK only at Play.com..

Which includes a 6" Old Snake figure

complete with "Making of blu-ray" and soundtrack..

for £79.99

This is fucking excellent for me. At first I expected one of them cheap Play.com special editions, but since it turns out its the only Limited Edition in the UK...then Fuck Yeah I'm going to pay 80 quid for it!

plus an Old Snake Figure....I'm emptying my pockets for this..

The Americans get it for about £40 ($84.99) and we have to pay double. I mean exchange rate or not its a bit of a slap in the face.

This is what ive been waiting for, I'm going to GAME tomorrow to ask about it, £80 Pounds for a game is absurd though but i guess it will be worth it in the long run.

Its a Play.com exclusive, just how the US LE is exclusive to Gamestop

Ugh looks like ill have to sign up to play.com then, when you Pre-Order from play.com, does it take the money out of your bank account when you Pre-Order or when its delivered

Konami are finally giving us some much needed love, even though its bloody expensive, its worth it.

Does Play.com deliever on the day of release? The only thing I have ever bought from there was Portable Ops becuase of the covers not having the age rating fiasco and play.com were still selling them.

They ship a few days before release. And cos of the cost / weight / size we'll be given tracking numbers - I.E, recorded delivery

And damn, I forgot about delivery, looks like I will have to take a day off College to be there to recieve it.

Play are generally reliable for pre-orders, so you should get it on the release date (12th).

As for the prize... I think it's worth it. It's the final MGS of the series and it has a bunch of stuff as extras for the Limited Edition.

You get the official soundtrack and the extra disc as well with the LE as well.

You also get that (soundtrack) with the US GameStop limited edition (as far as I know), I'm saying given the choice I would much rather pay £40 less and lose out on the figure. However all imports of the limited edition that I have found have all been around the £80 mark anyways. I'm just bitter because the exchange rate sucks, (or rocks, from another point of view).

The LE box is exactly the same (the cover on the actual game is the European one clearly). The only advantage we're getting over the American version is the figure which I'd rather not have to pay an extra 40 quid for >_>

I'm sorry, but this sucks monkey fuck. Why did they have to make it a Play.com exclusive? Play.com doesn't even ship outside of the UK. What about the people in other parts of Europe who wan't in on the LE version? Sure, we could import, but fuck that, the shipping times would be hell. Anyway, why couldn't they have made the LE a GAME.com exclusive or something? Fuck this shit.

Play.com ship internationally, but they will not ship the MGS4LE meaning Konami have told them they cant. GAME already have exclusive rights to the MGS4 headset and Play.com is an amazing place and EU countries are getting them in there stores.

So basically stop fucking talking shit and fucking using the fuck word all the fucking time.

I sure hope the US gets that figure too. I'd like to have it and don't see why we wouldn't get it. I heard we do but I guess no one else has.

I hate to be a D B) ck, but we still havent heared anything from konami about the LE getting to Europe, thou some sites may have them up fore preorder (yes! ive gott one on preorder to) but that may change, im just saying that we should atleast wait til konami gives it the green light.

If you are going to import the US limited or special edition it's going to cost you way more than the EU Limited Edition. Believe me, I thought about it when we thought that the LE wasn't going to be released in EU.
It's not worth the trouble.
