Just wondering if there are any fans of the series. I personally love the series and find the games very fun and entertaining. I havent played it as it's not out in Europe yet. But ive seen the intro and it does look amazing. I may check it out.

Same same, although I have never actually played the series I have been keeping my eye on this game. Is it kind of RPG like? Or more action?

It's more of an action game. You could easily compare it to the game Chaos Legion. The opening movie for the game is AMAZING. If you ask me, it tops some of the FF CGI.

Meh, FF sucks. I'm not sure whether to get this though. You know my tastes Bob, more into the RPG's than action but I do like Vice City and things like that, plus all the FPS type games. Should I get it when it comes out?

I wouldn't say buy it, I'd say rent it. It's not a very long game so I would just rent it. As I mentioned, the opening CGI is probably the best I've ever seen. It's more a hack and slash game than anything else. There are a few things you can do that are a little RPG like. You can upgrade your armor, weapons, ect. It also has an interesting story. Just use your discretion I suppose. :D

Yeah, as I mentioned, it's probably the best intro movie for a game I've ever seen.

I watched the huge trailer for one of the onimusha games (number 3 I think) where he was fighting heaps of monster and ninja type things. Its one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The animation is so damned nice.

Yes, the intro is nice.... But when you play the game, your grin turns to a perked up eyebrow. :huh:

The graphics in the actual game are about as good as Devil May Cry 2's. The water and fire are pretty good though, but that's it.

Hmm, the intro? Well I wouldn't think you could tell a whole game by it's intro. More to the fact of it having some neat gameplay. Reading the reviews though, it has gathered some high ratings.

Well, to be honest, I actually had more fun with the first two games than I did with the third. Although, the third is still a great game.

I played the first game and didnt really like it. So i am not going to bother with this one.

That isn't really the best way to judge a game, alot could have changed. I think I'll get FarCry over this though. My new processor arrives soon....hopefully. Stupid thing.

Far Cry is coming to ps2 im gonna buy it when it does.
