i'm liking the last one, as that would appeal to fans of the series whether they are a member of the forums or not, but the top one and the signature idea might not appeal as much as the're aren't really openly showing that it's about Metal Gear.

an idea (if possible) might be to put the little orange foxhound logos on the shoulders of the T-shirt (like the enemies in the twin snakes). I think that would definitely look great.

They look good but some of them have been badly stretched. A bit of resizing would make them look nice.

viva la fox - May 26, 2004 03:43 PM (GMT)
they have be stretched becuase i need to fit them on to the t- shirts but
if we make them they will not be stretched,

have you got any ideas Refluxe

You will need something catchy for the site eg. The Banner which represents the community here. You will also need the address to stand out nicely so it can be easily promoted and everything should be in proportion eg.

Bare in mind it will be alot larger in real life and shortening the graphic placed on the image even more maybe necessary to make it look better but that is what I personally would go for.

How about something like www.mgsforums.com on the back and a stencil of Snake on the front. Nothing too fancy, but it would be effective. we could have black, white, and maybe a gray hoodie. There's a couple places by my house that would do this.

That sounds good, you could use the logo graphic on the right as the front image then the text reading www.MGSforums.com on the back. If you do decide to make them cobb, send me one over though aye?

Lol yeah and in exchance I will send you some Lucozade and an England flag.

So will these actually get made? They will look pretty darn good if they do.

I'll have to figure out the costs and everything, but if you guys can find a market, it could be a reality.

Now i dont like the last one. Maybe if you could crop it or summin? Make it fade into the background?

Solidus - May 28, 2004 07:40 PM (GMT)
Yeah it would be awesome to make some. I would wear them all around the big town.

I could make them and probably sell them using PayPal, but that means spending a big load of money on Ink, Shirts, Transfer Paper, etc.

By the way, here is my design..

right on. simple text. won't have to worry about any copyright issues, and also save money on printing. ;)

Refluxe - May 28, 2004 08:14 PM (GMT)
What about the back? That's going to be plain or what?

Solidus - May 28, 2004 08:27 PM (GMT)
Nah it hink it looks cool how it is at the moment..

the_cobbinator - May 29, 2004 01:23 AM (GMT)
Agreed, most t's don't have much on the back anyways.

Refluxe - May 29, 2004 12:00 PM (GMT)
Well okay, but send me one okay? I'll pay for it and everything. How much they going to sell for?

the_cobbinator - May 29, 2004 05:07 PM (GMT)
The place I've been thinking about bases their costs on how many colors you have in your logo. I'll go back sometime when they're open and ask specific prices. Basically, it'll probably be some larger than normal price for the first one and then really cheap after that.

Solidus - May 29, 2004 07:17 PM (GMT)
I bought 2 new black T Shirts today, im gonna try it out and see what its like.

the_cobbinator - May 29, 2004 09:30 PM (GMT)
Are you going to use iron-ons, or do you have some way to screen print it on?

Solidus - May 29, 2004 09:42 PM (GMT)
Im using Iron ons at the moment.

But i just tried one and it didnt transfer the text so now i just got a big line thing that i cant get off.

the_cobbinator - May 29, 2004 09:45 PM (GMT)

That bites, I'll try some with my friend next weekend, maybe, if he doesn't go on vacation again.

Frank Jaeger - May 30, 2004 10:01 AM (GMT)

Refluxe - May 30, 2004 12:19 PM (GMT)
My brother made a T-Shirt for his old website promoting bikes. He did lots of stunts and sh*t. Then it closed down...haha! I hope it turns out well.
