Title: David Hayter
Description: Where is he and where has he been?

Liquidon Snake - February 13, 2004 03:03 PM (GMT)
I wanted to make this topic because David Hayter has a greater name in movies than a lot of you know, and I thought it might be interesting for you all to learn a few things about him.

He starred in one movie,
Guyver 2: Dark Hero.
It was based on a Japanese Anime.
In 1998, he acted a main part in the movie, Burn.
Many times, he has played countless parts in various movies, and has done many voices for some of the older anime TV series.
Since then, he has been a part of the development team for X-Men and X-2: X-Men United, and is currently working on X-3.
He is a featured voice for EA Sports. In their commercials, he is the voice that says their slogan "EA Sports. It's in the Game.".
He was also a feature voice in the video game, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and the voice of an announcer in Madden NFL 2003.

What else can YOU say about him?

Solidus - February 13, 2004 06:58 PM (GMT)
so he actually acts in that film you said?

Vamp - February 13, 2004 08:51 PM (GMT)
maybe he's been just workin on the metal gear series or is just not getting jobs as often

BakaFox27 - February 14, 2004 11:13 AM (GMT)
He wrote the screenplay for the X-men movie (which he also made a brief appearance in) and co-wrote the screenplay for the second.

Brief appearance? Where? What bit? Do you know? ;)

Liquidon Snake - February 14, 2004 09:45 PM (GMT)
@ Solidus:
Yeah, he really acts in The Guyver 2: Dark Hero.
His side part in X-Men was a security guard.

@ Vamp:
He's been geting jobs recently. I hear that he's the voice in The Snake Eater. I have no reason to suspect otherwise. I'd say he's had a somewhat busy career in recent years.

@ BakaFox27:
Yeah, and I also heard he might have a slightly more significant contribution to X-3.

Solidus - February 16, 2004 09:42 AM (GMT)
Oh cool, do you know where to though? So it saves me watching it all. :D

QUOTE (Liquidon Snake @ Feb 14 2004, 09:45 PM)
I hear that he's the voice in The Snake Eater

Who as? If it is Big Boss do you think that he would have the same voice as Snake?

solidsnake_rules - February 17, 2004 11:32 AM (GMT)
I think so if it would'nt he would'nt sound cool.

Liquidon Snake - February 17, 2004 08:18 PM (GMT)
He'd have to have the same voice as Snake.
I should be saying that Snake would have Big Boss' voice, since he was the product of genetic enhancement from Big Boss.
In other words, he'd need to have many of the same traits. Voice was probably included in the genes that would be appointed dominant in Snake, since a soldier may utilize his/her voice to instill fear, attention, etc. in others.
Yeah, Hayter would be Big Boss' voice.

solidsnake_rules - February 18, 2004 11:49 AM (GMT)
Good point Liquidon Snake!! ;)

Vamp - February 22, 2004 01:47 PM (GMT)
cool it'll be good to here "Freeze" like only David Hayter can say it again lol

Liquidon Snake - February 23, 2004 08:48 PM (GMT)
Another source tells me otherwise.
Besides, the voice in the trailer doesn't sound like Hayter.
Sorry to disappoint anyone.
The trailer can be found at GameTrailers.com

Vamp - February 24, 2004 03:57 PM (GMT)
Oh So Do you think he is in it as another character?

Liquidon Snake - February 24, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
Possibly.
He's had such a major contribution that he might be included in a cameo voice of one of the soldiers or something, but indistinctively.

If you have played Dead Or Alive 3, then listen to Bayman. Big Boss' voice sounds a lot like Bayman's.

This photo is one of few that clearly displays his face. One is unlikely to find as clear a photo of Hayter as this one. The only other photo I could find was this one:

The first B&W photo was taken in 1994.
The second one was taken during the production of Sons Of Liberty.
