Title: Are you planning on purchasing it?

La Li Lu Le Lo - February 23, 2006 10:57 PM (GMT)
I certainly will, since I've enjoyed the first game just enough to convince me to buy the sequel. I am also dying to see the "Solid Eye."

Mrs.Smith - February 23, 2006 11:01 PM (GMT)
It'll be intresting to see if this solid eye works out, looks a bit too industrial looking for my liking, i'll still buy the game netherless ^_^

FoxHounder - February 24, 2006 10:28 AM (GMT)
No I doubt that I buy it, becaurse first I would need a PSP. I rather spend the money for Nokia's N91 (specs only).

La Li Lu Le Lo - February 24, 2006 01:57 PM (GMT)
There are some awesome games coming out for the PSP, mainly from Capcom. They've just released Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. Another MM game is due out in March. On top of all that, Ghost and Goblins will be out later this year, not to mention Monster Hunter Freedom.

Have you tried the first MGA? I found it to be quite entertaining and the story will more than likely amaze you. I expect the same from the sequel.

utra snake - February 24, 2006 05:11 PM (GMT)
As long as i have the cash ill get this game.

FoxHounder - February 24, 2006 09:25 PM (GMT)
I just think that the PSP is a bit too expensive. The features are really nice, but do you really need them all? I doubt that, mabe I would buy it if it costs about 150,00€. At the moment they want abou 250,00€ for it in Germany, without any game. Than I pay a little bit more and buy the mobile phone I already mentioned in my first post.

La Li Lu Le Lo - February 25, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
Well, look at it this way. You'll be buying a PS3 regardless of the price, since playing games is your main objective. Those other features won't interest you nearly as much, although they may be very intriguing. There will be at least a couple of games that might be worth a purchase for the PSP.

utra snake - February 25, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
i got mine on the first day i dident care about the price, now you can get a psp giga pack with 2 games for the same price i payed. i still am glad i got it then :P

gray-fox - March 1, 2006 02:28 PM (GMT)
It looks no where near as good as MGA1, but I'll still be getting it.
I'm glad to see some MGA fans around. Most people say it sucks, 'cos of the card system. And they haven't even tried it. Bloody bashers, lol.

Replica Snake - March 3, 2006 11:14 PM (GMT)
I think MGA is awesome. I haven't gotten tired of MGA1, and MGA2 looks really interesting. I do have to say I like the original style a tad bit more. However, the new look is promising in my opinion... It kind of seperates MGS from MGA.

I also like the new controls for MGA2. The idea of Real-Time motion being blended with the card battle scenario makes this game; atleast in the gameplay aspect, much better than the first MGA.

And, with all MG games the story should be amazing. As far as I'm conserned, I've already bought it. :snake:

La Li Lu Le Lo - March 3, 2006 11:26 PM (GMT)
I wholeheartedly agree with you. Newcomers will easily be able to distinguish the traditional MGS games from the new MGA spin-offs.

Why does it have to be released on the same day as Kingdom Hearts 2? That will be my only problem. I am not sure on which game to start first.

FoxHounder - March 3, 2006 11:40 PM (GMT)
I won't pay every price the shops would demand. This would be insane. I even waited 5 yeasr till I bought a PS2^^ I think I'll buy a PSP as soon as the price decreases a bit.

Solid Snake The Great - March 15, 2006 01:06 PM (GMT)
I will get it because I found the MGA game was quite entertaining, even though all of my friends said it was crap and a waste of money. I like it, its different from the other MG games.

Solide18 - March 15, 2006 02:09 PM (GMT)
Yes, of course.
I'm going to pre-order it so i get it day before actual release ^_^

PS. But i live in Finland, so i don't know when the PAL release is going to be... -_-

Patriot_vamp - March 15, 2006 02:14 PM (GMT)
i wont get it because i dont have a PSP. It s just too expensive, like foxhounder and others said.

But when i ll get one someday i ll first buy acid and then later on acid2.

Too bad both games arent canon (couldnt they just have said it was only a vr mission, just like they did with the metal gear solid gameboy game?)

snakelda - April 5, 2006 08:29 AM (GMT)
I will get it but not right now

WHiTeFaLCoN - April 5, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
I think the game has a horrible look. I don't think I'll get it.

snakelda - April 13, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
lol,I just got it yesterday!

Revan Tyrani - April 20, 2006 01:16 PM (GMT)
no, i idnt like the original Ac!d nough so i see no point spending £30 quid on a game i probably wont enjoy, may aswell save for Subsitence and PS2 Online connector thing

Solidus - April 27, 2006 09:43 AM (GMT)
I havent completed Acid as of yet, but is this game worth getting? Im thinking on it.

krypton_ls - April 27, 2006 09:49 AM (GMT)
Hmmm, I voted 'no' mainly because I don't have my PSP anymore, had to sell it in January coz I had no ca$h whatsoever! Might consider getting one soon thought, and maybe MGA2, but coz it's like the first, it was ok day one, but it did get boring. When Kojima Pro release the proper MGS game for PSP, I'll buy that defo on the day of release.

As for MGA2 then, I agree with Revan totally, might get it when it's in the bargain bin in Game tho... ^_^

Solidus - April 27, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
Well I just won it anyway. Got it for under £20. Not bad.

Subsistence - April 27, 2006 07:31 PM (GMT)
I got a PSP today, get it tomorow tho :D
So many people say this game is bad, Im gonna try and play it with an open mind.

Solidus - April 29, 2006 12:50 PM (GMT)
Well, I got mine today. Havent played it yet though because im chargine the PSP because you have to install Firmware 2.60 to play it. But the 3D glasses seem cool.

Ghost Sniper - April 29, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
I found Solid Eye completely useless what so ever. I felt stupid after wasting my time setting that thing right, only to find out it gives no amazing features to the game...

Yeah, you are right.
It's useless in gameplay, but i think the Solid eye teather is good idea.
MGS4 trailer looks amazing in 3D :)

Endgame - May 2, 2006 01:35 AM (GMT)
I probably won't buy it. The original Ac!d was ok, but it just didn't have that Metal Gear feel that hooked me to the other games. I didn't really enjoy the card system either...

KatalystFactor - May 2, 2006 02:37 PM (GMT)
I beat Ac!d for a freind and it p*ssed me of to no degree that you have to have a movement card to move. So I think since on MGA 2, you can move freely with out using a turn, It'll be a much more entertaining game.

Solidus - May 23, 2006 11:21 AM (GMT)
So did anyone get it then? I mean, its out everywhere now right?

Yeah in every shop down my street has it in, although one of the shops still has the american version which i'm going to buy first, then the europen version.

Solidus - May 23, 2006 02:35 PM (GMT)
But why? Aint they the same?

Subsistence - May 23, 2006 02:36 PM (GMT)
Yeah but I want to collect both versions.

Solidus - May 23, 2006 02:53 PM (GMT)
Ok cool. Im stuck on mine at the moment.

Subsistence - May 23, 2006 02:56 PM (GMT)
I still haven't done Ac!d one, Gotta get round to it.

Jonathancoconut - May 23, 2006 05:14 PM (GMT)
Hell yeah

kuhsum - May 29, 2006 05:10 PM (GMT)

Yeah, all the annoyances are fixed, and then some. It feels just like a mgs game.
