Title: Gamespot Review
the_cobbinator - March 22, 2006 01:18 PM (GMT)
Acidē came out yesterday in the U.S. I did not purchase it, as I don't have a PSP, but Gamespot said it was pretty good (8.2)
Here's the
link.

Has someone played the game yet?
What did you like it?
Is the gameplay really better than in first Acid as they say?
hmm... if someone has it, it would be awesome if you write an preview of it or something like that.
I get the game at Friday. ^_^
Thaanks...

My friend got an Japanese import a few months back and what I played of it was pretty good, the interface was deffenatly an improvement. The start is a bit slow though what with the training level's but once you get into it, it really is quite fun ^_^

This undoubtedly puts a smile on my face. They've improved most of the things in the game. The only problem remaining are the cut-scenes.

The cut-scenes take waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. I remember in Ac!d, the cut-scenes were just terrible. No voice acting or anything. Just words. I hope they shorten the length of the cut-scenes in Ac!d 2.

If that's your opinion...
well then i think MG isn't just right game for you, i fear...
You still like to play MG -games, but don't like the cutscenes... well you better get to use to it, because there is not going to be changes in that.
Metal Gear games are more like interactie movies than just a games ;)

With the story that MGS has, do you honestly think there's a slight chance of small cut-scenes? ;)
Solid Snake The Great - March 24, 2006 07:46 PM (GMT)
Not really. I just felt like expressing my feelings about the cut-scenes. I wouldn't mind in MGS but in Ac!d there was no voice-acting. That really annoyed me.

thanks for saying that man i totally agree.
acid 2 is is rendered in that wierd ray tracing style(i know its not called ray tracing; i dont really care what its called). that which should have been a new good thing is NOT to me. i just got it today and i just found out that my local gamespot has had it for a few days and sold out of subsistence yesterday. i will say that today the first time i use a machine gun in acid 2 i got an involuntary smile on my face cause it looked so hot. i would hope that if this is not the last acid game for psp that they would never try to render the game play graphics like this again. but as for the cut scenes im already loving what im seeing. OOOOOOOOOHHHHH
ill internally cumbust if they either ad cut scenes for other msg series or even more so have some hot japanese babes on it.
