![]() Welcome to the Resident Evil Chat It all began with "the Alpha Team is flying around the forest in northwestern Raccon City." Meanwhile those words have become a legend in the history of videogames... After some of us started to talk about the Resident Evil Series, I think it might be a good idea to open up a own topic where all members could talkt about the games. Besides I don't won't that some people maybe get mad with us if we use various topiucs for talking about Resident Evil. I still can remember the year 1996, Resident Evil was still released and I first saw it in an Shop, I was looking at the case and and the back stood Haben Sie Angst vor dem Tod?" (Are you afraid of death? Some guys were playing it, so I wachted it and I decided to buy the game soon. Even though I wasn't 18 at that time...I think I must have been between 15 and 16 at that time. It was no big deal to buy the game. During this time they didn't really controlled how old you were. How about you guys? Why do you like Resident Evil or do you hate it? What kidn of merchandise stuff do you obtain? Fell free to talk about the games, the characters, the levels et. Just talk about everything here that deals with Resident Evil! kind regards Fox |

It's up!
I've got a Resi 4 query: is it possible to play through the game again with the weapons you finished with? |

Yes, it is. So if you manage to get the Infinite Rocket Launcher while playing the game, you can play through it again with it etc. Great weapon! I still remember the day I got RE2, it was like £35 lol, but I got it because it was just going to be amazing. I remember playing the demo over and over again, it was just brilliant. I wish they would Remake number 2 properly. |

great topic
I ve played RE3 some days ago and it s still great. O completed the game after 5 hours and was like Oh i always thought it was much longer. But it s still a great game. I also completed the others resident evil titles (except for RE4 )RE1 is also great, it s the scariest RE in my opinion and also the hardest (the atmosfere in the mansion always kills me) |

I played RE3 probably tausand times...I even had somekind of bloodthirstiness. Honestly I'm a bit dissapointed of RE2, because they cancelled the first version of the game after it was finished to 80%. Fans blame Shinji Mikami for that... @Sol The infinite Rocketlauncher is really great, I love to use it if a group of 5 or more people stands in front of me

Really? If I had the infinite rocket launcher I'd probably just use it on everyone that was a reasonable distance away.
So what's everyone's favourite Resi? Definately 4 for me; mind you I haven't actually played any of the others.

Most people will say RE4, even though that may possibly be my choice. I will always love the others. Go and play the others! @Fox, really? Damn, after all that work too. |

You will found some information, pics and I think one or two trailers on bioflames. Also Claire didn't exists in the former version. Somehow I don't really like Claire... |

Ha! its a Resident Evil game on the DS! http://ds.ign.com/objects/767/767640.html Jeez, the graphics are exactly like the PS1 version. Looks sweet, whats different about it? I'll merge this with the other topic. Edit - Mucked up. This is a reply about RE:Dead Silence, posted by Subsistence. @Bro of light, what weapon is that? |

Is there any specific thing you have to do? Because I tried the other day and I just had the normal weapons (which you usually start with) when I started. |

@Sol The Chicago Typewriter is a Thomsom Mashine Gun, you have to unlock it and it costs 1.000.000. ptas, It's one of my favourite weapons in RE4. |

My orignal post was about deadly silence (ds) but for some reason it went weird, I got it today, And it was amazing, the graphics are good, texture is not that bad but the sound is great for the DS, the multiplayer is really fun too. |

sorry about the weird post
, its exactly the same as the orignal for playstation, its not like the remake for gamecube tho, some bits have been changed like the files say diffrent things and some hidden rooms are on it, plus there the multiplayer which is the highlight of buying it and a bonus finger stabing mini game, its what i bought a ds for.
