Last night I watched Let Sleeping Corpses Lie. Fucking great, classic zombie movie. Tonight I'm going to see The Hangover at the drive-in with my friend Julie, and I'm excited because I haven't seen it yet. Everyone's been raving about it.

You Have Been Watching (new C Brooker show - fucking awesome).
Ugh, watched 20 minutes of it and got sick. He's turned into what he most complains about, didn't help much that he was always a twat. I do admit that near the start when they were reading out the newsreel was pretty funny though.
Not at all. That is what people have been DYING to say about Brooker. To try and catch him at his own game, there is nothing people would like more. Because we live in a horrible world where people thrive on criticism of criticism of criticism.

The truth is there was nothing wrong with that show. In fact, it was very fucking funny. It was hardly formulaic, and if more panel shows were like that maybe they would be good as well.

Anyway I was just watching the brilliant Just video. One of the most captivating music videos ever.

Trust me, I'm not just complaining for the sake of complaining, I just found it incredibly boring and forced.

There are a lot of panel shows which are much better. Although they may be more mainstream and aren't as "controversial" ( ) as Brooker's show, they are a hell of a lot funnier.

Also, Frankie Boyle does a much better job at being a funny grumpy sod.

No way man. We are clearly on opposite ends of the spectrum here entirely. Frankie Boyle dabbles in cheap shock humour. He doesn't believe what he's actually saying. Brooker on the other hand is just an above average intelligent guy who happens to be a decent journalist moaning a lot, which also happens to be incredibly entertaining. The only people who get their back up at Charlie Brooker are the kind of people he is mocking and or moaning about. At least, that has been my personal observation. I also find people just automatically contradict him because he is put on a pedestal by a lot of people, and people just love to be the alternative alternative guy.

Anyways, I'm about to watch Old School. Missed it years a go, so I hope it's good.

I was watching some "Quantum Leap" season 1, not long ago...love that show, and just saw "The Bourne Identity"...pretty good. I also re-watched "Talladega Nights" last weekend after my boyfriend kept on about it, since i hated it the first time i saw it, but he convinced me to give it another chance...and i admit..i liked it the second time..pretty funny, besides i love Will ferrell since "Step Brothers"....Also watched "Highlander" again for the billionth time..gotta have me some Highlander...(the original ONLY..because in my world the sequels don't exist because they.....uh..suck) I've also been watching the shit out of some Metal Gear youtube videos some people have put together... like "A Solid Hero - Holding Out For a Hero - Metal Gear Solid 3" you all should check it out...it's really well put together. & "Metal Gear Solid 2 in 60 Seconds" is pretty damn funny. Also "Metal Gear Solid 2: Guitar Remix" is great too...but i can't stop watching A Solid Hero....awesome!

I just watched Into The Wild. Having never read the book and not really hearing much about the movie, I was surprised by the ending. Pretty sad. It was very good though, I'll have to pick up a copy of the book.

South Park, Child Abduction is Not Funny.

Easily my favourite episode, purely for the Ghost of Human Kindness part.

Summer of Sam:
It was pretty good. Nothing really special but it wasn't bad. The only thing I didn't like was the crappiness of the son of Sam. All his monologues and all that were a bit shoddy to be honest. When the dog started talking to him and he was screaming (and really badly acting it) it got a bit ridiculous. The rest of the characters were great though, and some good acting especially from John Leguizamo.

Breakdown:
It was a great thriller - can't believe I've never heard of it before.

I'm not usually one to express myself so much while watching a film but I found myself shouting "f*ck yeah! Take that motherf*cker!" quite a few times while watching.
Mainly when Kurt Russell kicked that guys face, or when the truck f*cking mashed the guy in the river.

Brilliant revenge film.
If you think you're free, there's no escape possible.
