I've been watching the movies that have inspired some part of Metal Gear such as The Deer Hunter, North By Northwest (I love Alfred Hitchcock's films), The Great Escape, Escape From New York and Escape From L.A.

Wonderful, wonderful film. Makes my top 10 though I bet it barely makes most people's top 50.

My fiance and I have almost finished watching the entire South Park series via Netflix & the SP website. It was my first time really sitting down to purposely watch any episodes and I was astounded by how many jokes in pop/internet culture I can trace back to South Park

^ Well, if the second was anything to go by...

Marley & Me - A nice watch with a hint of American aspirational living, Marley & Me rarely requires the viewer to think about Aniston's 'post-Friends' career. Based around an incorrigible dog, his owner and his wife, we watch the trio eventually become a sextet during which time we begin to see the understated roles dogs have in our hearts and homes (even the unruly ones). Touching and despite the title, not quite what you'd call a traditional chick-flick imo: 6.5/10.

EDIT: A couple more recent views:
Rango - Great watch! The Deppth of Depp's abilities is astonishing. Ziiiiing: 7/10
Rio - The best kids flick I've seen since Finding Nemo, imo: 7/10.

Started watching White Collar, those who have watched Chuck know that its that Bryce Larkin dude who got his own series much similar to Chuck itself. Seeing it as a Chuck fan, i found the series quite fun tbh.

Althought the dirty part of me was complaining, meaning there wasn't enough BBC there.
BBC is my own codeword for dirtyness. Boobs, Butts & C*nts
