Watched all of Firefly. What a great show. I have half a mind to burn down FOX for cancelling such a quality TV series and airing the episodes in the wrong fucking order to confuse and put off viewers. Ordered the movie off Amazon to get some closure with Captain Mal and the gang.
Been watching it myself pal, got one ep left. Been on my to watch list for ages. My uncle randomly bought me the movie the other day, too, after I said on the off-hand I was watching the show lol. Will watch that after the last ep of course. I've really enjoyed it; a lot of great shows got cancelled unfortunately (Firefly and Arrested Development are the big ones).

The last ep isn't even a finale really. It just cuts you off. Man that show could have gone on for ages

Watched the film. Emotional

KILLER'S KISS, an early film by the late master Stanley Kubrick. I'm having my Kubrick phase at the moment so I bought a couple of books about him, have watched a lot of analysis videos of his movies and I watched 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY twice this week. I've yet to see a few of his movies including LOLITA, THE KILLING and PATHS OF GLORY.

Anyways, this wasn't a bad movie but it's only a prelude to the movies that Kubrick would make later on. It had some glimpses of Kubrick's craft, including nice dolly shots, close-ups and the use of shadows and contrast. Loved how at the end of the movie the baddie's scream morphed into the 'hoot' of a train. I had thought this was a boxing movie but there was maybe 5 minutes of boxing in it and it was a drama with ingredients of a crime film. I think the noir voice-over wasn't really essential and didn't suit the rest of the movie.

Next up THE KILLING that's supposed to be a heist classic.

Watching all the Doctor Who seasons with David Tennant. I still remember the first episode I ever watched.

CRAZY STUPID LOVE - A fine film. Funny, sarcastic and touching. I'm not really a fan of Steve Carrell (liked him in 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN though) and he wasn't that annoying in this movie. Emma Stone was as lovely as always, Marisa Tomei as hot as always and had no idea how ripped Ryan Gosling actually is. He's a great actor, been a fan since I saw UNITED STATES OF LELAND and he was brilliant in DRIVE. Crazy is kind of a cross between EASY-A and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. I liked it.

IRON SKY - Wasn't a fan of the director's (who's finnish by the way) last movie STAR WRECK - IN THE PIRKINNING but the idea of this sounded crazy enough for me to go see it with friends = Back in 1945 the remaining nazis fled to the moon and put up a base there and now many decades later they're planning for a world domination. I don't really like the humor or the acting but the special effects look amazing considering this wasn't as expensive as your average Hollywood science fiction movies, I think.

Good stuff. Didn't care for the movie, though.

Watching Venture Bros (Season1) right now. I LOVE this show. Might put Mighty Boosh on next.

so I decided to finally give My little pony: friendship is magic a chance. I'm on episode 5 at the moment, and I'm actually really liking it so far. it's very sweet but also surprisingly clever for a childrens show. rain approves <3

Granin, I had no idea they had that show on Netflix! I am going to have to watch that now. Been years. I was always a huge Roseanne fan growing up. I had a monster crush on Darlene haha. Something about family shows they always do it for me. I guess because you compare it to your own family on some level.

It's pretty much the reason I got Netflix seeing as it's impossible to find every episode online. But it wasn't on the UK one, so now I IP cheat my way to precious Malcolm

Just found an episode of the show "Unchained Reaction" on youtube. I hadn't heard of this show before, and I have to say it's pretty damn awesome. Reminds me of junkyard wars (R.I.P.).

White Collar - season 3.

Very, very entertaining show. Likeable characters and pretty easy to watch. I found it kinda corny at first but the style of the show has really grown on me. Loving it at the moment.

Recommend you try it.
