Off to see the new Die Hard in about 20 mins. Hopefully worthwhile.
I wish to hear a review. I'm extremely skeptical. 1-3 were incredible but then Justin Long happened. Not saying that I dislike that actor, just wasn't right for Die Hard at ALL.

Just finished LIVE AND LET DIE. The eponymous song is one of my favorite from all the Bond-themes, voodoo/snake/facepaint stuff and Bond don't blend together that well, Jane Seymour is cute as hell, I hoped Bond had actually tried to derail a speeding bullet with his watch after M said it might be possible, and the boat chase sequence goes on forever. A mediocre Bond film.

I just came back from seeing Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters, if you don't take it seriously it's a decent movie, it's typical CG action garbage, not even 90 minutes long, perfect for filling a lazy afternoon.

My friend told me he saw families leave left and right, they thought it was a Disney-ish family movie. Lol.

I must admit it was far more gory than I expected, I suppose it was marketed the wrong way. When I saw TED the cinema mostly consisted of mothers and their children!

I guess it's bait and switch. They know they'll be most of the audience.

Batman Begins.
Still a solid movie, not as good as the other two though.

2013 NBA All-Star Game.

Most years they fuck around for the first three quarters and don't get serious until the fourth.

This year they're actually playing pretty solid from the start, and it's been a great game so far because of it.

Nerf herder.
JAWS - THE REVENGE - The first movie is pretty much perfect and it makes one wonder how did they go this wrong? The earlier sequels were bad but this was downright horrible. So suddenly the shark has this mental connection to the Brodys and follows them to Bahamas where there are no great white sharks cause the water's too warm. And didn't they like kill the sharks in the previous movies? How is this supposed to be the same shark from the first movie?

SLEEPER - A great Woody Allen slapstick-comedy where Woody's character is frozen after some complications in his run-of-the-mill ulcer check-up and he's awoken 200 years in the future. I wonder when we'll get things like the "sex booth" and the "orgasm orb".

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN - It's like Josh Whedon's THE AVENGERS only released in 1948. The characters had their own movies earlier (Lugosi/Dracula, Chaney Jr./Wolfman, Strange/Frankenstein's monster) and here they're all together. Even the Invisible Man makes an "appearance". Pretty funny at times.

JURASSIC PARK 3 - Hadn't seen this since it came out and it's even worse than my first viewing. The movie makes no sense at all.

THE FLY - A great film and one of my favorites from the Cronenberg. That man really has his own style. The sequel with Stoltz is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

CREEPSHOW 2 - Three horror stories. None of them are very interesting, the hitchhiker one at least is somewhat bloody. I wonder where the writers of I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER got the idea for their movie. I roll me eyes.
