I found it a good film. Liked the book better, but I'll definitely watch the sequel when it's out.

VANILLA SKY - This was the third time I saw it and I still don't like it. The structure and pacing are badly off, the performances are mediocre at best and it's 40 minutes overlong. Really should watch Amenabar's original.

Has anybody seen Iron Sky? I thought it was going to be a stupid movie but I really enjoyed it!

I've also been watching the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, great show!

I saw it in theaters because it's directed by a Finnish guy and it was talked about a lot since it's a big Hollywood production. Thought it was decent, nothing major. Some nice CGI and the plot is crazy enough to enjoy in the correct state of mind but the jokes just aren't funny.

You got me a bit excited there for a minute when you said "new season". But there hasn't been new episodes since 2011. CURB is definitely one of my favorite shows and I've seen all the episodes pretty, pretty, pretty many times.

I see what you did there...

Also if there hasn't been a new episode since 2011 then the Comedy Channel lied to me! They advertised season 8 has the newest season, is this correct or did I fall for it?

It's the newest season but not new per se since it came out in 2011.

I just got done watching Naruto: Road to Ninja in Korean..... didn't understand one word of it (lol!), but it was pretty cool. I'll have to watch it again with English subtitles once it's released though to fully understand the story. Out of all the Naruto Shippuden movies, I believe this one is my 3rd favorite.

Lost in Translation fans out there?

Recently needed to pick a movie for a group of people and suggested it, always love seeing it myself. It has so many interesting undertones and meaning that you as the viewer need to catch.

Also the first scene is quite possibly the best introduction to any film.

That's a great movie and I agree with the opening shot being pretty brilliant.

SERPICO - Still a great, poignant film. Pacino's great, the script's very good and thanks to the editor there's no fat between shots as you pretty much go to the next scene without exterior shots etc. A story very well told.

DEMONS - Lamberto Bava's 1985 cult horror movie. Remember the opening scene of SCREAM 2 in the theater? This movie is that scene stretched to 90 minutes with some demons and puss thrown in. Good little fun.

WHEELS ON MEALS - Jackie Chan, Samo Hung and Yuen Biao. Too little kicking and fighting and too much drama and character relationships we don't care about. Some nicely choreographed fights in the final 15 minutes. Nowhere near as good as Jackie's other 80s films.

THE BURNING - A killer is loose on a summer camp. Sound familiar? It's pretty much a rip-off of FRIDAY THE 13TH but it's worth seeing once. Debut appearances of Fisher Stevens (Lost), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) and Holly Hunter (Piano).

LOCKOUT - A scifi action flick based on a Luc Besson story. It's fast paced, but too familiar in every aspect. I call it ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK in space. Maggie Grace is not a very good actress.

I often watch Adventure Time, anyone else here watch that?
I don't watch often.
But when I do, I'm never disappointed.
(Fairly Intelligent Cartoon. Will be remembered well)

I bought Once Upon A Time In Mexico today, took me a while to find it but I got it eventually. I'm a huge fan of Robert Rodriguez (except for Spy Kids 1-4 and Shark Boy and Lava Girl), his collaboration with Tarantino in Grindhouse was great, I'm also really looking forward to Machette Kills.

I've been meaning to check it out, I'm really hoping that he and Tarantino will make another Grindhouse type double feature soon.

@ Antii, nice sig, one of the best opening shots in any movie ever!

My re-watch of Game of Thrones is almost complete. After purchasing Season 2 on Blu-Ray early in March, I got only episode 10 to watch. Then I'll catch up The Walking Dead and will watch The Clone Wars' season finale.
