I heard one interpretation was that he did commit the murders, but people around him didn't care or take him seriously when he tried to confess.

If that's the case, maybe it is to show how shallow and indifferent society has become.

Yea, thats what I was tryin to say.
The whole book/movie is satire.
If he didnt do the murders the people not believing him because they are shallow falls apart.

The problem is the movie tried to introduce Bateman as a unreliable narrator at the very end, which is where the confusion stems from. If this was built up across the story it would have made more sense.
Speaking of Christian Bale, watching The Dark Knight Rises on DVD. Up to the point Shyne breaks Batman.

Im convinced that the hole prison thing in the movie is real and you're down there with nothing but a copy of TDKR and a computer. :roy:

So I saw Men in Black 4, I thought it was a weird reboot of the series.
I mean ghosts and demons?
Ryan Reynolds performance was alright I guess.
Jeff Bridges accent think he was doing was fucking awful though.
All in all it was a pretty shit movie tbh.

He's talking about RIPD and used "Men In Black 4" in a humorous way and as a reference to how RIPD is a shameless rip off of Men In Black

Just watched Direct Action (2009 Dolph Lundgren) pretty decent movie. But this is probably the third time I've seen that movie.

I just finished watching Dark City, it's a really good movie. It turns into a huge mind trip at about the half way point. I bought the Blu Ray version which had the Theatrical Cut and the Director's Cut. I watched the Theatrical Cut today so I'll be watching the Director's Cut pretty soon to see which is the better version.

Inception. The movie just gets better and better at repeat views, might pick it up on Blu-Ray.

I've watched Eraserhead. It's so... surreal and creepy, but it's such a good movie. I highly recommend it.
