The first season of arrow
So much bullshit drama in that show that I can't stand, yet I've been keeping up with it weekly since season 2 started. They must be doing something right.

Laurel can fuck right off. She ain't no Black Canary.

Watching latest Colbert Report.

Kill Bill is the best. This scene is brilliant.

I'm watching "Dear Mr. Watterson".

It's a documentary about the comic strip Calvin and Hobbs. Holy shit, so much feels. I used to read these like back in the third grade or something. It's on Netflix if anybody else used to love the strip like I did.

Watching Romeo and Juliet, sixties version. As far as teen drama's go, it's pretty good.

The Sweeney - Good watch, you slaygs! Never got to see them turn off the traction control, though. Still, 6.5/10.

Edit: Just watched Tangled. The movie itself as well-made but I'm getting tired of these racist-ass Disney productions. Not one ethnic minority. All beautiful white-skinned, blonde or brown-haired characters even in the animated world. Okay I get it, Repunzel is traditionally blonde but what were they afraid of including some dark-skinned guy just in case they came and fucked up the perfect white world? I mean blood hell, they even gave a central role to a white horse for goodness sake. And what about us ugly sons of bitches? Naturally we're all criminals but for the 'righteous few', not deserving of a happy ending in the kingdom of heaven amongst the pure I take it? 6/10.

Over the Top - Bit of 80s cheese because I've been feeling a bit down lately. Always sunny during the 80s. Not bad but not one of his better films. 5.5/10.

I thought it was a pretty solid film tbh. And I fucking hate musicals with a passion. Juliet was hot too imo.

OT:

Watching "Searching for Bobby Fischer" for the 100th time.

Damn, the first 40 minutes of Full Metal Jacket is perfect. No humanity. Humanity is either beaten out through peer pressure or physically beaten out. The dialogue is perfect. The music gets stuck in your head. It's like you are being disassembled and reassembled along with them. I haven't gotten past 40 minutes yet.

FMJ is definitely a movie that causes that kind of impression. I remember watching it when i was 15, 14 and thinking to myself ''This is a good war movie'' and put it in a pile along other war movies i used to watch at the time, mainly because i wasn't seeing it through.

A few years later when i really listened what it was saying, it just destroyed me, it still gets to me every time i watch it.

You do realize that the first new Disney princess they made in 20 years was black?

I used to watch those types of shows all the time. I think it part of it might be because I work in that sort of environment.
