Taken 3. Not as bad as RT makes it out to be. But only watch if you somewhat liked the previous ones.

Predators is such a disappointment. The movie tries so fucking hard to make me care about those people but I just want to see them die a terrible death. Whatshisface tries too hard to get across the ''tough guy'' motif, and some character relationships come out of nowhere.

The Super Predators didn't do much that was ''super'' and they felt weaker this time around. If the movie focused on the civil war thing going on that would have honestly been better than what we got. Laurence Fishburne isn't too bad in the flick though. The Japanese guy basically does nothing. Fuck Topher Grace. Only guy who I felt some sympathy for like the movie wanted me to was the Russian guy.

I enjoy it, despite its flaws. I watched it with the idea of seeing humans fight Pred's and that's essentially it. There's nothing more to this movie.

Well yeah but the movie tries to shove plot so I expect the plot to be half salvageable. That sorry excuse for a romance subplot and ending were horrible, and the Predators were so nonthreatening. It played everything safe.

Alien vs Predator needs to be redone with no fucking humans at all. Humans kill alien movies. We aren't that goddamn important, we don't need to be in everything.

Just watched the first episode of The Sopranos. i'm new to the show, and know frankly nothing. Generally, how long until this show hooks you? I Know it's a relative question, but there has to be a point that most fans agree on. Breaking Bad is a prime example. It's always enjoyable, but doesn't hook you until the second season.

I think it should be redone in the future with the Colonial Marines. Like in the old PC games and comic books. I'd pay to see dat shit

I just really hate the whole "human ends up impressing Predator, Predator saves human but is killed, human kicks ass for Predator and gets a pass to go home" thing. No, fuck that. There would be no moment of "you are worthy", the humans would get fuckin merked. Shit pisses me off. Alien vs Predator? Who won? Fucking humans. Bullshit.

I saw Birdman last night. I thought it was fantastic, great cast who all turn in great performances, great script, great cinematography and a great score. 10/10, best movie I've seen in a while.

I saw that 2 weeks ago, class film. I cared about every character which is rare. The people I went with actually didn't like it, its a little too unorthodox for most cinema viewers.

I wouldn't mind if this wins the best picture Oscar, although i'd prefer it going to Grand Budapest.

The Deer Hunter, I really enjoyed it but it felt a little unbalanced to me. It's a 3 hour long movie so I thought it would be divided into 3 parts: first hour: before the war, second hour: the war, third hour: the return home. During the first hour I thought this would be the format of the movie since a lot of time was devoted to the wedding, when we get to the war part it moves pretty quickly and it just seems like the director wanted to get this part out of the way, we only get to see about 45 minutes of them fighting in the war which is really odd considering how crucial it is to their arcs and the movie in general.

But anyway I really enjoyed it, I just would've preffered if it was a bit more balanced.

Vanilla Coke is better. I'm the shite one.

Just watched Eyes Wide Shut. I think its my favourite Kubrick film so far alongside 2001. I now have Strangelove and Paths of Glory to go. I actually don't think I would have guessed that this film was by Kubrick if I hadn't already known. His shots are a lot different, there are way more of those very slow zoom in's (I don't know the actual cinema terminology lol). The acting is very impressive, my favourite in a Kubrick film. It wasn't as unrealistically fun as in other Kubrick films. He was way more on the nose than he normally is too "Lucky to be alive" is the obvious example. The only thing that had Kubrick over it would be the music and how slow and yet engaging the scenes are.

I say that it was more on the nose, but my brain still hurt by the end of it.

Watched it on Sunday, was laughing for almost the entire duration. His confidence is clearly at a point where he can get laughs out of anything, there's nobody else who can hold your attention for a full hour like that. That's evident because the material in this special is not as good as his previous ones, but in the end the show is just as funny. Don't expect a show as grand and well put-together as Oh My God, where he had a point to make with every story and they all ended satisfyingly. This show is more in bits and pieces, which is supposed to be because its more suited to a comedy club experience than a big theater show.

The general format is: he'll get into a topic, spend a little too long making jokes about the absurdity of it, and then just drop it and move onto something else. He does try out a bunch of new impressions and voices, feels like his best material is getting used in his TV show so all that's left for his stand-up performance was the scraps plus some new unusual stuff. Other fans seem to be bitching but all in all I can't complain, its still an hour of quality comedy from the best in the world. 8/8 m8s.

I just sat down with a burger and threw on MASH (the show). Great show, even better if you've read the book, which I definitely suggest.
