This stuff is great. I'm hooked. Only 4 episodes left unfortunately, but I'll probably move onto the Vietnam war next.

Mad Max: Fury Road.

Really wanted to see this in theaters but alas, shitty policies stopped me from doing so.

Just put on Friday the 13th Part III, watching them all for the first time

EDIT:I'm 20 minutes in and there's been like 5 long shots of things being held towards the camera, Im guessing this movie was in 3D

Haha yes, it was 3D. Really didn't like that one personally.

Mad Max is fucking insane so far. Its strange, its essentially one big action sequence but an intelligent one.
Love it.

Fury Road is an amazing film, best action flick I've seen in...God knows.

Just finished Friday III, it was enjoyable, though a lot of the time the tension was overly drawn out to the point it wasn't even enjoyable for it's cheesiness, and many of the scares were just rehashes of scares from the first one. That scene where she sees Jason in the window while in the canoe was genuinely scary though.

I finished watching all 11 seasons of Frasier on Netflix and goddamn was it really good! It's very well written and every character in the show is entertaining to watch. I'm upset that I did not watch it when it had aired, but it's definitely one of my favorite shows of all time now next to NewsRadio, The Wire and Sopranos.

I also recently watched The Aviator for the first time the other night and I loved it. I'm not too interested in airplanes and all that, but I was hooked and found it all to be interesting, especially Howard Hughes life. You can't go wrong with Scorsese.

I'm getting ready to watch this with my little sister. I've seen it a couple times; she hasn't seen it yet. A while back I made her sit down and watch the first two live action movies with me and she's been a huge TMNT fan since. Maybe my greatest accomplishment as a brother.

Soon I'll have to DL the third one and let her check that one out as well. We also watched the newest one with Megan Fox and needless to say we didn't really enjoy it. Even at 11 years old she thought it was pretty corny. I was so proud.

I just finished the MGS1 movie last night and already watched MG and MG2 roughly a month ago. I'm not sure exactly how far I'll actually get through the series before the time TPP releases but I do hope to make it all the way through MGS3 and PW.

I'm actually pumped for this MGS2 movie right now. It's been too long.

Vanilla Coke is better. I'm the shite one.

Can anyone suggest any decent modern horror films? I can only come up with the Babadook.

It Follows was pretty good. It's new but it has that old school vibe of "they just keep coming." Are you a fan of found footage films? I know that's a genre that people either love or hate but there are definitely some good ones out there.

The Barber is more of a thriller than a horror movie but it's still pretty legit IMO
Devil was made in 2010 but I believe it still holds up today.
The Ward is a John Carpenter flick and I enjoyed it.
I liked Oculus because of the play on reality that they do throughout it.
Watched "The Pyramid" the other night on Movies On Demand, so if you have that, check out that trailer.

Obviously your mileage may vary but maybe those can help you find something that you may be more interested in.

On topic, I ended up nerding out lastnight and watched "I Dream Of Wires." It's just about modular synthesizers and how far they've come, they're implementations into old 60's music to today's electronica. Good watch if you're into that sort of stuff.

The best part is Doug Heffernan's mom as the killer.

Season 7 of Castle, we are behind the Americans, Season 8 starts next month.

Just got into The Strain, finished the first episode of S1 with S2 starting on Wednesday, thought it was pretty cool that Robin Atkin Downes does the voice for a character on the show, the actual psychical role is played by Robert Maillet who had a career in pro wrestling as Kurrgan.
