VERIFIED GIRL!
So today I watched Maze Runner: Scorch Trials. I enjoyed it. However, I'm compelled to say that, like Mad Max, any time I see a movie about the world in ruins, I feel some type of way; kinda disturbed. If we think about it, that's how real-life is starting to feel like with the kind of news we're bombarded with. Some places have their severe droughts, people are getting sick a lot, relying heavily on medication and going to the doctor and what not, the rise in prices are causing for people to do stupid shit that you really can't blame them for.. They're trying to survive... *I speak for those who "cause trouble" at grocery stores by being excessively vigilant of their receipts, prices, and being extreme cuponers at times, even if they won't even use half of the stuff they get...

Just watched Criminal Activities. Sort of the Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels vibe where some people get fucked out of a sure thing and have to pay a mob boss back some money. But it's got some good laughs and the ending is fucking outstanding. Also there's some little bald guy with the Heisenberg facial hair that just steals the show.

I'll forever love Shane Black for writing the screenplay for the first two Lethal Weapon movies (and quite a few other great action movies from the 80s and 90s).

Nice Guys looks pretty good, funny to see Ryan Gosling playing a goofball after such movies as Drive and Only God Forgives haha.

Watching "No Tears For The Dead": a South Korean movie about an assassin who ends up killing an innocent bystander on his last hit - a little girl. In return for fucking up the job, he's tasked with killing the mother of the little girl. But will he do it?

Watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty for the first time in awhile. It's not the greatest movie but I've always really liked it.

Just watched an episode of America's Book of Secrets about scientology. I refuse to capitalize that word. Bunch of evil quacks.

Also finishing up season 4 of Bob's Burgers. I'm trying to go slowly to savor the flavor.

Edit:

Oh yeah, and I checked out Bill Burr's new cartoon F is for Family. I love Bill Burr, but the show is not so good.

Hot damn, Lil' Miss Webbie knows I LOVE me some Bob's Burgers. Absolute favorite show on TV right now.

We just watched Die Hard 2 again last night, because we needed a Christmas movie. It was that or Trading Places.

A few days ago I watched the Bill Murray Christmas special, "A Very Murray Christmas". It was good and funny, with a lot more singing than I expected. I'd give it a shot if you want to watch something seasonal, but don't like the standard and traditional stuff.

Making A Murderer.

It's a documentary series about a guy who was wrongfully convicted of sexual abuse, put in prison for 18 years, and then 2 years after he was released he was (wrongfully?) convicted of murder. Not sure yet if he committed the murder or not, but yeah.

It's on Netflix and I highly recommend it to all of you.

Jesus, 24 hours of a Christmas Story. It's not like that could ever get old coming on every single year haha.

After getting The Sopranos box set for Christmas, I just finished up the first season and it's still just as good as I remember. And Lorraine Bracco

Yeah, I'm almost halfway through season two right now. Loving every bit of it.

Also, that Making A Murderer show I mentioned before, I highly recommend it to you and everyone else. There are no other reality-based shows out there right now that are nearly as close to as interesting as this one. Well worth a watch.
