http://www.twilightthemovie.com/ Anyone read the books? If you do, then you might be looking forward to the movie on Nov 21. The trailer is in the link.  I read the first one. It was pretty good, highly romantic though. I'm curious to see if the movie can bring any of it to life.

Ive read the entire series and adored it. The film doesnt look so great. Paramore are doing a new song for it though. SO I can live with it at least. I wish they'd just left them alone though. |

Thats cool, I've read a few of his books, and like the them alot. Ever read...what was it...The Girl who loved tom gordon? Or Lisey's story?
Yeah, I'm a bit skeptical myself...but I think I may check it out. Or at least wait for reviews...

MY gf's trying to get me to read the book. I've heard good about the series and i can't go a day without seeing it or one of it's sequals(New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn) so i may give it a try and see the movie later. She;s going with her friends to see it tonight. |

the whole concept of this movie makes me angry. one of the whole curses of vampires was being unable to go out in sunlight....but WTF, all of a sudden these guys can go out in the day? oh wait but its cloudy, so its k LOL! no. fail movie. unfortunately, all the girls will go to it, so it will probably be number 1 in the box office opening weekend. *sigh* i dont understand how a movie like this will rake in cash but movies like speed racer just do ok.... |

Jeez Edward has a big head of an 80's pop star. Anyways my gf said it was good. Didn't ask if it was faithful to the book because i'll probably enbd up reading it since it has had nothing but good things about the book. Here's the way I see it though. In order for girls to be less afraid of horror books they make it a horror romance. In order for guys to actully read a romace book they throw vampires in there. |

I actually had to take my friend to go see this. It wasn't half bad. Kind of funny at parts and the vampire family was pretty cool. Especially the edward scissorhands-faced kid. |

You see I enjoyed it as a book. It was well written and fairly original, and as a writer I think a lot of males put it down without even giving it a chance. It can be very endearing, and keeps you hooked. After that, the story goes down hill, but I do think No. 4 should be the last one (I can't really see it going anywhere from there.) However, the film looks to have completely destroyed the first person narrative, and the cast doesn't match the images from the book what so ever. It was an utter let down watching the trailers. I am going to go and see it, just expect a bad review. I am also going to see Choke today, as I adored the novel. |
