Has anyone used Action Replay for MGS? I found out that you can beat the game crazy fast. With AR you can get the box that takes you all the way to the snowfield. All you have to do is play the first part of the game until you can get into a truck, and put the box on, and off you go. Then once there get out and go to the underground base. All ready to put in the second disk. Things you dindn't have to go through: 1) save the darpa chief 2) fight ocelot 3) Destroy Tank 4) Blow up Control panel 5) fight with ninja 6) kill Mantis 7) snipe down wolf 8) tourture 9) staircase full of assholes 10) demolish liqiud's helicopter 11) kill those people in elevator 12) kill sniper wolf and make otacon cry 13) OH yeah, walking back and fourth with long cutscenes. That should of been at the top. I think that covers it. that right there saves about 2-4 hours, or if your like me 13 hours

Can you still go back and do those if you wanted or is the chance of doing them gone once you reach the snow feild, cause that would be cool if you could pick to fight the M1 Tank or I dunno the Hind D. Plus I didn't know they did a Action Replay for MGS 1, is it still available for purchase? Im not really much into cheating but I liked using Action Replay for my old GTA Vice City, they had some crazy things you could do. Edited by Gray Guile, Jul 29 2008, 06:21 PM.

No you can't , but there are some weird glitches, like if you use the level 10 card it comes with you can get the famas the nikita and the sniper befor you fight ocelot, but it won't give ammo until your past a point were you have to use it. So it will be like 0/0 on the weapon you get before you are supose to get them. Also with the level 10 card you can go into the tourture room and you will be in the cell with your clothes stripped but still have weapons and stuff, and you don't have to go through touture because the game thinks you already did it. Once you get out you can go were baker was held with c4. the walls will still be covered. once all of them are blowin up you will still see baker hel up with c4. You can go in the room but nothing will happen. Ocelot will not appear, and you can walk in and out of the room, but don't touch baker the place will explode and the game will be over. |

I'm really not sure if AR is still out for PS1. You can search. I got my copy around 2003 so i'm not sure. |

You can get every item in the game with it. One code it give you extra ammo, and every time you shoot instead of your ammo going down it goes up. Eample 200/200 400/200 600/200. you can stealth, the bandana, health, all weapons, all items. skip some parts. Also, if do fight ocelot you can use the level 10 card to walk out of the level 4 door during the fight. it won't take you any where, but you will be on the exterior, so you can walk aorund the building, and ocelot won't be able to find you. I think it the same with raven to. |

yeah your kinda right. It take the fun out of the game, and plus it does screw up alot. One second your like "I'm the greatest, i have infinite Life" then a few seconds later its like "Man, this is boring!" |
