Not really dude, in the MGS Database it says Naomi never met Dr. Clark so she assumed it was a man. I don't know if Kojima meant for it to be like that or he jsut changed it to make sense in the end. |

What are you referring to? That Dr. Clark was a woman? If Dr. Clark's real identity is telled in MGS4, i don't want to know anything, since I haven't got MGS4 yet

^ Er, yeah...its referring to stuff in MGS4. For a future note, not everything that is supposed to end up in the spoiler forums ends up there right away, so if you don't want anything spoiled then I would advise you stay away from the MGS4 forums (even though this is in Metal Gear Solid, not MGS4  )As for Dr.Clark, Naomi is just dumb. Japanese translations could've been a little different since the gender might've not been specified so they just went with a male. |

the gender was unspecified at the time because Kojima didn't plan on makin it all the way up to MGS4. He threw that in MGS4 to make it make sense. On top of that when you don't know the gender of something you're supposed to assume it's a he for some reason. |

It's a translation error. There's a few things in Western versions of MGS that weren't in the Japanese, due to slight errors in the translation. In the Japanese version Dr Clark's gender is never specified. Another example would be Meryl hinting that she was raped, which is present in Western versions but not the Japanese. Also please be aware that the MGS 4 spoilers policy is still in effect. However I will let this one slide, as in the grand scheme of things it's not that large a spoiler and was revealed before MGS 4 was released. |
