Posts: 1,546 Group: Members Member #2,134 Joined: April 27, 2006	When people form clans they form clans with ideals and interests and when clans form alliances with equal causes they great a movement that sweeps a game and molds it with time. The JUO, ACM, EDS, and OHM were one of the 4 main clans of several of the alliance of Anti-Cheating clans known as the Anti-cheating Clans Union or ACU, and yes for a time there were others. We were the few who actually spoke out and wanted to really change MGO for the better and promote fair play, stopping the usage of glitches and cheats for gain, as well as statboosting and other dirty tricks to cheat other players and the system. While our alliances never were truly strong our beliefs held us together and we sought to forge ahead and try and stop it by making names of cheaters known. While the results of our task will never be fully known for a time Konami did take action and though we may not have been directly responsible, it was those few who took the time to consider reporting cheaters to Konami that did the trick and if we inspired them, so be it, if not then kudos to them anyway. Sadly it didn't last as Konami eventually wained off and nothing else was done after Shokoy got banned for statboosting. Now that MGO is closing I personally would like to thank the nameless and uncountable people who did their best to stop cheating, taught others how to play for real, mentored us, and promoted fair play in fair games. Now we must move onward to other games like MPO and soon MGS4. I truly hope we all can continue our mission, our quest, and our purpose to help stop and prevent cheating in online games no matter where we go and who we play with. May the dream of cheat-free games live on and thrive and hopefully one day come true.
