Good lord!!!
 This is the best post I've ever seen about a game!!! Its up to date, very helpful (although it contains many spoilers) and above all it describes all the basics about MGS4. You are great man. Thanks for this great post. I've lost my words. I cant think of anything to say right now. I'll catch up with you later. :wacko: Congratulations and a very big applause!

This doesn't need it's own topic so I thought I'd post this here: The MSG4 flash widgets that you can find on the teaser site now have a background music option available (as well as a link to the podcasts)! I really like the middle east theme (which Kojima wrote himself I might add). |

Take A Look ! Performing the "Inchworm" is as easy as lying down (hold X) and gently moving the analog stick towards your goal. Most soldiers won't notice you EDIT: The crouch-run: In prior games, Snake only had two movement options: he could a) run or B) crawl on his belly. Metal Gear Solid 4 helpfully adds an in-between option I'm calling the "crouch run." By running in this low-profile position, Snake can move at a brisk pace without totally blowing his cover. To crouch run, simply tap X to crouch and then start moving. I played much of the game while in a half-crouch, and found it helped immensely. SUB - Weapons You fire these powerful sub-weapons by aiming (hold L1) and then tapping R2 to unload. |

No L3 is not to crouch i got it from some next up website.. I played the Beta Just press X and move about then your running around in a low posture .. Also the Inchworm is wrong, when your lying down just gently push the left analog stick.. |

I only intended this FAQ to be used as a "pre-release" info gather desk, so this means no spoilers, whatsoever in any shape, or form. As such I don't want to add any "post-release" info either, even if they weren't spoiling a dang thing. But hey, if someone wants to use this as a skeleton for a even fuller and more complete FAQ... give me a call and we'll see.
