Before MGS:Special Missions came out I was kinda hoping part of the game would involve getting to control metal gear Rex. I know most ppl wanted to control ninja don't get me wrong I enjoyed this, but still I think the metal gear thing would have been good fun. I just wondered if anyone else thought so too?

That would be pretty crazy. Controlling metal gear and having about a 100 genome soldiers to take out. Genola Vs Metal Gear even. Haha thats actually not a bad idea. B) |

I think it's an awesome idea. I think you should be able to give Raiden the Gray Fox treatment with REX. I can even almost see Genola doing some kind of CQC stuff on REX. And going in the weapons window would be Machine gun, Missiles, Laser beam, and Foot. I hated those foot stomps. I've put some thought into this now, what an awesome original idea! |

No way, I mean, cmon, it's Metal Gear REX. Who hasnt looked at it and wanted to drive it. It certainly wouldnt fit into the original MGS gameplay but for VR missions it's perfect.

I'll go to konami's offices, so long as I can get new copies of MGS1 and Silent Hill 1. I might have to dress up as grey fox, which I did last halloween. I have pictues. They're awesome. I need to get off of my computer for awhile... |

Back to topic: I think that playing as Rex would have been a nice touch for the Special Missions disc, but playing as Ninja, as short as that lasted was still great fun though. Maybe the add-on for MGS4 might include something of this nature? After all, if MGS4 is going to be the last MGS, if we're lucky Kojima might fulfil all of our wishes at once!
