Now, as frustrating as it's been to actually find time to write or post, it's even more of a nut cracker to try and make decent art which has been a low point for a while, but I think this one isn't as bad, lol. I did the same thing that I did for the Naked Snake pic, which if is approved by you the viewers, shall become my official drawing style which is draw hand drawn pics first THEN use photoshop. It takes arouund 3 times as long to finish, but detail is something different now.

Now, this first one I cannot really explain, it's all in the pic, so I hope you folks enjoy. *Yes, this is the man in my avatar, Cold Stone. I really attempted to model his appearance off of Morris Chesnut, the actor, but in the end, I'm not sure that's what happened. But ah, what the hell, whatever works right?

Trust me bud when you see how this guy dies, you might disagree. :P

And I'll be putting up a couple of other people too if that's cool. Although most enemies in GZ5 have on the same gear as Cold Stone minus Dreamscape, Phoenix and Abyss....*I shouldn't say names when these people haven't even been mentioned yet, lol, my bad. *

Sorry for the lateness folks, this next piece is another main antagonist for the GZ series, Black King.

Black King is one of the most ruthless characters in the entire Ground Zero series. Here he stands wearing the latest in futuristic combat body armor, completely immune to bullets or explosives, and armed with the SAW machine gun. But the man behind the terrifying enigma is a former SEAL known as David Castle. It was around 1997 when Black King and his unit were sent to a private villa in Columbia in order to take down a major drug lord operating within Columbia named Enrico Montiba. But after taking down Montiba and his army, Black King rigged his private yhatt filled with billions of dollars worth of drugs and weapons, with explosives and set them off in order to fake his death and make away with the billions as he used the money to help organize the para-military unit known as Alpha Red. Although, despite all of this, Black King is merely the public face of Alpha Red, used by Cold Stone, Phoenix and Dreamscape in order to obtain the new Singularity virus for his commanders.

Guessing my mic's off, isn't it?

Well, this one is Johnny Markinson of the UCT, with a brief bio.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a238/Big...nyMarkinson.jpg

Name: Johnny Markinson
Date of Birth: 1966 - age 37 in GZ4.
Height: 176 lbs
Weight: 5'11
Nationality: American/Caucasian
Birthplace: Columbus, Georgia.
Affiliation: UCT (Universal Counter Terrorists)

Bio: Ten years after the horrific Colares incident, and still, Markinson stands strong. Although he is still the wise cracking, desert eagle shooting SOB he's always been, he's become far less gung ho, and more of a tactical agent now apart of the UCT Alpha team alongside his other comrades. His early career before the UCT however, involved him training a former Marine group called "The Eagles." A group of Marines which would be sent on special task recon missions like the missions Phoenix had undertaken, but due to unknown reasons from Markinson, that unit is no more. After their disbanding, he set out to look further into what happened to him and his comrades on that Brazilian island ten years ago with his good friend John Renalds. After coming up with nothing for a few months though, Markinson stepped back into action after agent Falken went rouge, and is now a part of the UCT in the war against the terrorists.

Me? Oh, it's actually relatively simple, I make very small scuplters of a character, usually in one color, make their stance, make an enlarged more detailed sketch of that scuplture, then I scan it with my printer, e-mail it to myself, and edit it with photoshop.

*I only use clay as manicans, they're easier to form since they have no wires. *

And finally finished the next UCT agent. Hope y'all like him. He's a bit more of a gung ho type, but you'll get why when you see the bio. :thumb:

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a238/Big...8/AlanPaige.jpg

Name: Alan Paige
Date of birth: 2/19/73 - 31 in GZ4
Height: 6'2 ft
Weight: 195 lbs
Nationality: American/Caucasian
Birthplace: Columbus, Ohio
Affiliation: UCT (Universal Counter Terrorism) division within the NSA.

Personality: A very aggressive agent, always capable to get the job done. He carries a much heavier arsenal then he once had in his Marine days. He is very serious about his work, never cracks jokes, and shows very little or no mercy at all towards terrorists.

Biography: The year, 1993, the threat, nuclear holocaust. Operation Colares, Dane Callaway and his unit had been sent to a Brazilian island known as Colares to disarm terrorists armed with a nuclear warhead hijacked from Central America. Alan Paige was a promising rookie at the time, still green, almost unable to kill, but after witnessing the horrific massacre of his comrades, Paige, in a sense, had changed tremendously. Destroying the terrorists along with his comrades in order to avenge the comrades he had lost.
Ever since this event, he had become far more vicious then ever, training in the most vigerous of military training, turning him into a violent, cold, and generally a perfect agent once again united with the surviving members of the Marine unit sent to Colares fourteen years ago. Paige was always seen as someone who should have never really been with the Marines to begin with, according to John Wright, one of the veteran members of the Colares team, but after seeing what Paige has become, it's easy to say, that Alan is more of a man then the now disabled Wright could ever be.

Doesn't he just?

Thanks again, and now it's onto a different kind of GZ character, one of my personal favorite characters in the story who makes his appearance in Ground Zero 4, Steve Falken, assassin, rouge UCT agent, personal gun for Black King.

Definitely a one of a kind fella in GZ, a shame his role comes to a bullet related end....

lol, hope you like him.

Sorry for taking so long on another update, this next one is Armond O'Rourke, John Hunter's right hand man.

Posted Image

Name: Armond O'Rourke
Nationality: Australian
Date of Birth: 3/4/59
Codename: Titan
Height: 7'2 ft
Weight: 352 lbs
Affiliation: GES

Personality: O'Rourke is a very aggressive, very powerful monster of a man. He is the second success of the GES project. He, much like his fellow GES members, holds special abilities. His being superhuman strength, and that his inner muscles and skeleton have been supplimented with liquid titanium, which dried, but maintained unsolid so that he could move freely. O'Rourke can feel no pain, and can break a man in half. His weapon of choice is a massive hunting knife which he uses all the time against his enemies.

Most noteable Quote: "The metal beneath my skin isn't what has made me a monster, what has is that after suffering through a procedure where I could feel boiling hot liquid titanium mend with my muscles, I have forgotten how to feel..."

Armond O'Rourke - Ground Zero

Name: Dimone Memphis,
Nationality: American, of Romanian descent
Date of Birth: 2/14/63
Alias: John Hunter
Height: 6'1 ft
Weight: 171 lbs
Affiliation: Claims to be GES, in reality, agent of Icarus

Personality: Memphis is a very calm, intelligent and dangerous individual. He is the soul person responsible for orchastrating the hijacking of the nuclear warheads within the Central American base. As revealed by Memphis himself, he isn't realy a GES subject like his comrades, Serpent, Decimator or O'Rourke, but is instead a subject to separate project developed by a rival Pandora agency known as Icarus. The project, codenamed "Messiah" was a counter measure for GES in which the subject's cells continue to regenerate whenever damaged. Due to that, Memphis can no longer die. And as cunning as he is, he used this to his advantage, and was able to fake a very real death. Memphis however, unlike his comrades, refuses to be used by Pandora for merely testing data, and unlike the others, dispite his sadistic and rather evil behavior, does feel a small sense of compassion towards his enemies, particularly his former comrade and good friend Dane Callaway, but if killing him has become necessary to destroy Pandora, and bring Messiah out from the shadows, then Memphis will not hesitate to kill him.

The reason behind the alias of John Hunter, is because the real John Hunter was the already established agent working for Pandora undercover within the Marine corps, but Memphis was able to kill the corrupt and evil man before he could report to Pandora, and undertook the task of taking John Hunter's identity in order to infiltrate Pandora right under their noses.

Most Memorable Quote: "It's been almost ten years, and you're still thinking like a rookie Dane. You have to understand that in order to get the job done, you have to be able to go beyond what is moral and what is wrong in order to do what is necessary to finish your mission. I learned that a long time ago, and look at where that has taken me. Yes, I have lost whatever has made me human, yes, I am responsible for stealing two warheads, taking the lives of 80 plus soldiers with them, but in the end, it is all for a greater cause, a cause that goes beyond you and me, beyond anything occuring here, a cause which I would give my life a thousand tiomes more to accomplish. And no one will get in the way of my cause, not Pandora, not Styles, not Rhoemer, and not you Dane..."

Dimone Memphis - Ground Zero

EDIT:

Sorry, I felt like posting this as well. You know, John Hunter's concept has been one of my more difficult process. His character concept has probably been the most drastically editted among any GZ character. NOTE, NONE of these concepts are cannon, NONE of them. They were just from my first drafts, and now just draw backs.

Posted Image

This is the 2004 original design of John Hunter. His name was originally known as "Hell Rider." A bad, scratch that, HORRIBLE character concept. Hell Rider's codename came from the fact that Hunter could never die. He had SOME decent dialogue in the original Ground Zero, but his relationship with Dane was completely different. He was much older then Dane originally, roughly already in his early 40's in the original GZ, and was far too bland. He was originally killed in the beginning of the Gulf War, instead of a friend and comrade, he was Dane's commanding officer, before being gunned down in the battlefield. Originally, there was no underground silo, a massive paramilitary base in the center of Colares, Callaway chases after Hell Rider, who really was John Hunter, an evil man, and faces him in a blast chamber, hidden in the base. Callaway grabs his crossbows from his front chest, and stabs him with all of them. And reappears at extraction point, as he becomes insane and makes one final assault. He grabs a crossbolt impaling his chest, and sticks it in John Wright's eye, as Callaway shoots him once in the head, knocking him off of the edge of the island, into rigid rocks, to his death, all of this was naturally scrapped. So when it came to my second draft, I scrapped this concept completely.

Posted Image

This was a second draft concept design of Hell Rider. His codename is scrapped early, and he is referred to Hunter the rest of the story. Hunter was now in his early 30's, a year or so older then Dane. He was a South African this time. Hunter was half Black, half german, which came into play in GZ4, referring to his past. He was a much better concept. A sergeant to Captain Sullivan, who Dane recognized, and was shocked to see as a terrorist. He had a hidden history, his father was a former Nazi, who lived until 1979. He was captured and tortured to death by the American army. Enraged, Hans Muhler, Hell Rider's original real name, which he changed to John Hunter when he came to America, vowed he would avenge his fathers death with his hatred to the United States, and would destroy those responsible for his fathers' death one by one. It added less of a bland personality to Hunter, and I liked it a lot. But in all honesty, it wouldn't work. His German past was great, but he couldn't fit it into GES, and the Black Box agency, *Pandora's original tamplete of a name* knew he was out of control, and would use his madness to really launch the warheads, so they sent, originally 12 marines to stop him, and the story picked up from there.

Muhler was an anti-Nazi, but loved his father. How this could drive him to stealing warheads and killing off millions of people was a mystery, even to me. It ended with Muhler getting shot in the head in the control station of the newly established underground silo, and lives. He comes back and shoots Dane in the chest with a crossbolt after the warheads are averted, but the silo is set up to self destruct, and goes off thanks to Arsenal, incinerating Muhler before he can finish off Dane. This concept was also scrapped when we reached our current story. Because Dane dies at the of this draft at the very end, Grey is holding him in his hands crying as Dane takes his final breaths. Making Grey the main character of Ground Zero now. I worked on GZ2 with this concept, and stopped after page ten.

Posted Image

This is our most current draft of Ground Zero, and my most current concept of John Hunter, now known as Dimone Memphis. I scrapped the entire concept of Hunter's olive drab concept. He is now fit with a FAR LESS bland appearance, is now YOUNGER then Dane, and was his best friend. He's caucasian once again, and was made to look, instead of completely gruff, to an attractive younger and dangerous man. I have a feeling I'll be sticking with this concept of Dane and him still having a larger relationship. Dane and Dimone were frioends, but are now arch rivals, one cannot die, and the other refuses to back down.

I like how this concept is like, but my editor still feels I should prolonge his identity, giving him some kind of codename or alias to the others, or give him a mask. Meaning I'll be cutting out Rhoemer's flashback in my 4th draft. I think the fourth draft version of Memphis will be his last concept. Funny how he changed up, huh?

At the last set.

This is Arsenal from Ground Zero.

Posted Image

Name: Norman Archer
Date of Birth: 11/4/57
Weight: 212 lbs
Height: 6'3 ft
Birthplace: Pittsburg, Pensulvania
Nationality: American
Codename: Formerly known as Arsenal

Bio: Archer is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. army. Shortly after returning home, Archer began developing in bio-weaponries for the United States government. His company, ArcherTech has grossed over 20.5 billion dollars over the course of six years, making it the primary source of the U.S.'s advanced munitions and bio-chemical weaponry station. Somewhere in the late 80's, Archer began to use his companies technology jointly with Pandora, and had become the third partner of the Pandora alliance. With his companies funds and technology at their hands, Pandora was able to initiate the GES project, and several other projects.

One being the Ultra-Armor projected developed in 1990, and completed in 1992. It is a state of the art combat suit, built with a very light yet dense steel plating. It runs on electromagnetic waves which can cause all bullets being fired from enemies to come towards the armor, protecting the users' comrades. Archer also developed the world's first Plasmanic cannon, which is capable of using a combination of electromagnetic energy and particles left in the air to create a massive electronic beam, which can penetrate through the strongest of steels if focused strongly enough.

However, after Colares, and the death of Preston Styles, Archer departed from Pandora and hasn't been seen since. But before his disappearance, he mentioned to his agent, Kress, that he had developed a biological weapon which he intends on using in the distant future against his enemies. What could this weapon be? And what has become of Norman Archer since his final mission in Colares?

Name: Lerroy Palmer
Age: 33
Height: 6'4 ft
Weight: 229 lbs
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Black
Affiliation: CIA
Rank: Field captain
Debut: Ground Zero IV

Brief Bio: Lerroy is a brute force field officer for the CIA, he, along with Steve Falken, Dane Callaway, and Pedro Fernandez all lead the beginning investigations during the first AR attack in the Lincoln Airport.

Lerroy developes a bit of a rivalry with Dane during this time, thinking he's just trying to show him up, but he does still hold a large amount of respect to him and the other field agents.

Lerroy is also a work-a-holic. He has put so much effort on the field, that his mediocre performance at home led to his wife divorcing him, including her getting full custody over their three kids. Leaving Lerroy with nothing else but the field.
