We could talk for hours about nothing and still find something to do. We'd practice tactics, getting around the level quickly, using the environment to our advantage, etc. hell some of my best tactics came from chat rooms than actual gaming. Chat rooms gave you time to study and think. Hell, me and several guys figured out tons of ways to get around in levels like G.Fac, CUS, and KHA that would make many players moan and groan in chat rooms practicing moving around. I miss really just the overall fun we'd have doing crazy and wild stuff. One thing I don't miss are the nOObs who complained about players who were too good. I mean for crying out loud you have to play against better people to get better.

I play MGO 2 religiously. I just never bought Subsistence (as I already had MGS3), and just planned to buy it in the bargain bin one day. I never realized at the time that MGO had such a wide community. I thought it was going to be a complete flop if I'm honest. It really sucks that its gone now, because I have played every single Metal Gear title except for MGO 1, which I will never get to play now. I really feel left out
