Well I just started playing this morning basically and was Wowed at some of the things they said, So I'll list them... Roy Campbell was Snakes old Green Beret Partner? That sounds pretty normal to me, but I mean... I thought Ac!d came out before MPO? And what in the hell... These Dolls are pissing me off, I've seen people with pretty weird abilities, but I mean.. The cut scenes with them are just gay. No Voice acting, meh... I like the game play, Wish it was more RTS then Card, But I like it none the less there are things that make up for the downfall. |

it's great to hear that someone besides me is replaying these great (albeit non-canon) games! MGA1 is alot of fun, i like the atmosphere and the feel of it. MPO and MGA go contradict each other, especially with the green beret part. roy was a GB in the beginning of MPO, but in MGA they were in the GBS together? weird, but overlookable. yeah those dolls are annoying, but it all comes together in the end. is this your first playthrough? and the gameplay is alot more streamlined in MGA2 for a faster game, although it feels like a colorful manga and less like a metal gear game. |

I just finished replaying MGA! 1 today... Had the wind knocked from me AGAIN with the storyline. And I mean, Campbell is really the only person who bridges the Solid Snake and Big Boss gap, and it's revealed at the end that Spoiler: click to toggle , so it would be easy for some misconceptions to start. And you'll find out what's up with the dolls, be patient.
