I was thinking about completing my knowlege of the mgs story by buying mgs portable ops as i have not played it yet. but is portable ops worth buying a psp for i really want to complete my knowlege of the saga up until mgs4 comes out , but spending somthing like £180 - £200 just for one game can hurt a sigint's pocket man. basicaly what i'm asking is, is the game any good does it live up to it's ps2 predecessors? |

is it worth buying a psp? IMO, no. i dont think any game is worth buying a system for (but then again, this is coming from the man who got a ps3 day one in anticipation of MGS4 and hasnt bought any other games for it to date, so you can take what i said with a grain of salt lol) anyways, i dont think MGSPO is worth buying a psp for if thats all you plan on ever buying. however, there are few games which are as good to start a game library with, and none better. and if you want, you can always just turn your psp into an mp3 player. anyways, i guess my answer is dont buy the psp only for MPO. buy it for all the games it has (wow i sound like a bad sony salesman) |

Portable ops is fun... but not worth buying a psp... Find other games that are your fancy and then buy the psp... If you can find more than 3 games that are to your liking then buy it... Mine would be... Socom Monster Hunter Freedom (1 or 2 it doesn't matter) MGSPO MGA2 |

Alot of people aren't fair to mgs:po beucase of the fact that it doesn't have in game graphical cutscenes... the game is VERY well done and extremely fun to play, and it progresses the story a good bit, not to mention the PSP is a fun little device if you get CFW... |

I really disliked the controls tbh, put that aside and you have got quite an enjoyable PSP game. I own a DS though, borrow my mate's PSP when he's around at his dad's place and he happened to have it. Quite a handy gadget to have as well. |
