I see some people been saying it's more a crime drama a la The Untouchables and less Batman. Well, we'll see soon. Also 100% Tomatoes rating? Nice.

Does anyone know how much of this was actually filmed in IMAX format? I'm just trying to figure out whether or not it's worth going to the IMAX for, or just to go to a regular cinema

They're both very much worth it. Although, the whole movie has been filmed with IMAX. It is the first movie, if I'm correct over here, filmed in IMAX camera's as well. So I'm pretty sure all is IMAX, and a IMAX visit will definetely be way more awesome.
only certain scenes like the action ones were filmed with imax not the whole movie

Why So Serious?
Just thought I'd let you all know that I won a free ticket to a pre-screening at the IMAX theater in Dallas on the 15th. It's all thanks to the epic end of The Dark Knight's viral marketing campaign by 42 Entertainment. After following the viral for months fans were rewarded with the opurtunity to get free tickets to early showings. I was one of the lucky out of 130 in my area to get a ticket, all the locations around the world sold out in less than 30 minutes.

Cold Loyality

I just found out I won't be able to see it Friday cause I'm working that day and I have class before work... I might go see it at midnight with friends on Thursday night. I'll just have to wait and see.. Anyways, I know the jest of the plot anyways and lets just say Joker is a man of his word.

Edit- If you want to see the first six minutes of the movie, go here.. http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/7779

It's not that shitty web cam version that was came out awhile back. I believe the new Batman Begins Special Edition Blu-Ray had this in it and that's where they got it from.

Just make your divx web player and read the instructions to play it.

Wow...amazing movie. Trully one of the best movies I've ever seen. It was intense from start to finish and so well paced, acted and shot. The Joker: awesome.

Although its a little sardonic to say, it sucks that Heath cannot reprise his role in a future film. It would have been great.

All in all, I want to see it again.
