Darkly Dreaming

Its a difficult choice yes. Calling for a pizza or a gorgeous homemade meal. In all fairness though, just lazing about with someone, be it a friend, a partner or whatever and ordering a pizza, only having to get up for the door and then just chill with the person in question, lazy about. Wonderful =D |

Though I am extremely lazy and really loathe cooking, I do enjoy the satifaction of eating the meal afterwards. Take out can be expensive and unhealthy so...meh. |

I wont deny that I am a bad boy =)

Take aways taste cheap and tacky but heck, I wouldn't say no to one. However, if there is anyone on this site - nay in the the WORLD - that can beat my Nan's cooking I shall pay you a very large sum of money indeed, her cooking is the stuff of legends. Even when its not my Nan's cooking, home cooking taste much better anyway and usually somewhat healthier as well. So in answer to the question, Home Cooking > Take Aways. |

Lol I agree. Though I also prefer home cooking over take out because I just feel there isn't much love or effort put into the food at restaurants nowadays. |

Left over take-away from the night before reheated, or if you're feeling adventurous, used as base for a quick and tasty snack. I'm very happy sitting on the fence thank you very much. |

Home cooking, especially my dad's roast dinner. Take away is too expensive for poor students all the time, but after drinking it is acceptable.

that is a tuffy,.. i do love my local chinese, even if it is packed with suger and E numbers... they do a mean sweet and sour chicken H.K style.... but then again so does my mum..... i'd say certain foods are better take-away... and certain home cooked are better... this is all taste wise.. cause i know take-away's are probably really shit for us... although ive not been efffected yet haha so im not complaining i'll vote undecided |

Overall, I'd go with homecooked. My mother is a good cook and I usually get some nice food. She makes good pies and pizzas, among other things, which all taste great. I will admit though, sometimes a nice cheeseburger from outside somewhere massively appeals to me. They serve some nice ones in the snooker club I have sadly been neglecting recently, something I hope to fix this week. Also can get some good sausage rolls from up there. But yes, overall, homecooked wins for me. Seriously, the chicken and ham pie I can get, damn good stuff.

Ain't nothing like homecookin'. Poor grammar aside, I enjoy cooking for myself, and my Mom's side of the family has a large number of deft hands in the kitchen. I do agree that a cheeseburger (from Culvers) hits the spot every once in a while, though. And the Chinese I got with 'Fluxe was divine. |

True. I eat takeaway about once every 4 months. Because I have so rarely, it probably tastes much better than if I were to eat it regularly. But yes, home cooked reigns supreme. |
