I'll be honest, I've just started playing the MGS games, properly. Although, I have followed the storyline quite a bit. Once I've got some more games/collectors items, other than MGS2 and MGS4, I'll post them.

The one above your figures. In the bottom right. Its black with old Snake on it. Almost looks like a book... Ah, well that poster is the best I've seen next to the movie-looking one. Don't know where I'll ever find one of those. |

This isn't all of my stuff but wanted to show the figures I have. ^^ That is the backcase of it showing other figures and the 20th anniversary of MGS.  ^^ Snake from MGS1. His face is weird because the toy was made befire MGS2, not knowing how they wanted his face to look like. Also his gun looks a lot bigger than it is.  ^^ Meryl. Her gun looks bigger than it is.  ^^ Raiden who was made in a very awkward pose and is very hard to stand.  ^^ One side of Big Boss in his sneaking suit.  ^^ Another side of Big Boss. I love the knife at the side of his ankle, you might not be able to see it.  ^^ The little collection.  ^^ There is also a gas mask and C4 there aswell. |

Nothing beats my collection  ................I wish I also think I took better pictures of my figures.       *note: I also improved Raidens snorkels things with tipex and felt but is hard to see the blue side. Also there have been some amazing collections on here, some of them are hard to believe. Well done everybody! |

These are some new things i bought recently. My collection is getting bigger now. Also i wanted to warn people that ebayers are selling many fakes (especially figures and Soundtracks), so dont get caught up in that. Ive been had a few times myself. All the soundtracks i own are "counterfeit" (no quality loss on the tracks though) so i really dont mind. There probably is more so anyone feel free to post the names up here to warn others. Heres a list to look out for: - Yamato figures (The Hong Kong ones are fake) - Miya records (Sound quality + packaging is good but still counterfeit) - K-O records (Same as the Miya records) - SM records (Also the same)    Edited by videogamer, Sep 20 2008, 02:37 PM.

Hey guys, just joined the forum and thought i would show off my collection. spent around $1500 on ebay and stuff so far. Ill name all the pieces but not in any specific order: Games: MGS 1 MGS 2 Substance ps2 MGS 3 Snake Eater MGS 3 Subsistance MGS 4 PS3 MGS 3 official Walkthrough MGS 4 Official Walkthrough Metal Gear Novel - Written in 1988 - i read this in primary school and is what started my addiction. tracked down a copy of it in london for $4. Metal Gear Offical Graphic Novel full set MGS 1 Full Figure collection including the 3 clear variants all upopened and in top condition MGS 2 Full Figure set including an opened double of olga and fortune 1 of the set of 7 small statue/figures from MGS 2 (top shelf of display) Fox hound Neon display light Solid Snake Wall Scroll MGS 4 posters - only 1 shown in image however having a cousin as a rep for EB games helped out, scored an entire promo tube of them and an A0 size one as well. 5" Solid Snake display stand with light up barrel from MGS 2's release (i assume it is the cardboard display from video game stores.) The box for my ps3 which is the MGS 4 pack so it has a piccy of solid on the front Also - ive just purchased a calorie mate off ebay, and also am looking to purchase the medicom naked snake original version (eye patch and crocodile cap) and also the Raiden from MGS 4 within the next 2-3 weeks. I also have a few odds and ends, collectors cards, flyers etc. but eventually im hoping to own one of everything as i figure it'll also gain value once the movie is released. NOTE: the display takes up around 2 metres of width of a wall if you include the poster and wall scroll. Anyway enjoy and let me know what you think as i dont know many MGS fans. if your talkin to me? after i read the first novel based on the original nes game, i kinda saw nothing else for 3-4 years and then in yr 8 at high school a mate of mine introduced me to the game as he was an addict and i literally sat for 6-7 hours and watched him play the entire first game on Playstation, and all movies within it. it was like watching one of the deepest stories ever and thats what made me a massive fan. i would have played the first game through atleast 30 times since then. love it. The storyline + gameplay is what hooked me. not many games can do that.

I've played a bit of each game at a friends house (BigBoss14 on MGSF), and there pretty fun, the story line is pretty coolio, though I don't really understand it. |
