We're having no store updates for 2 weeks and once the new FW comes it will have a MEGATON update [Including the MGO Beta] But it wont be web based, but software based so there are some panics that the stores MIGHT have a region lock. But this is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. So dont worry, just giving a headsup Any chance this might be the in game XMB update everyone is waiting for aswell?

I tried putting it in the translator, but the translation I get doesn't make sense. Is it something about not using the right type of characters when typing in my information?

But as for the Beta I was expecting to get a "code" from Gamestop since I was one of the first to Pre-order MGS4. Now Micster is giving a whole new set of instructions on how to get the code. So I appreciate Micster helping us all out but I'm confused. I'm too lazy to do all that work to get the code & find out in the end that it doesn't work? So I guess what I'm trying to ask Micster is that if I go through the WHOLE process that I'll 100% Sure GET THE BETA CODE? Is this the only way to get the code? Gamestop hasn't been giving me any confirmation about it, they just told me that they haven't gotten any info on it & to call back later. But I'm dying to play this. I also want to know Micster, What r u getting out of all this? Do u work with Konami in any way? As u can tell, I'm a noobie with all this & give u big kudos if this really does work. Thanks again!

Basically, you will more than likely get your beta code from Gamestop if you've pre-ordered. This is just a back up plan, mainly for the EU players who have been left in the dark on when we will get our beta. But I can 100 percent confirm this process does work. My beta code is in my e-mail inbox as we speak. p.s. Mic is getting nothing out of this, he's just doing this out of the kindness of his caramel chocolate heart.

Metal Gear Solid	intersting, im not sure ill be bothered going through all that. and im sure you are all wasting your time cuz that is probably only for the Jap servers. if im wrong and i hope im not i wont care too much about it cuz i want to start the experience with MGS4 first rather than MGO as it takes something away from it, same as what happened with Halo 3 and its multiplayer beta at least thats what people who were hyped and played them told me.
