Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty	Yeah well it's simple and easy for those living outside of Europe to say that, USA has been continually told "you're getting the beta, just pre-order etc", Japanese users can simply ask for the beta code and not have to pay. But Europe hasn't been given any of that, all we've been told by Sony Europe is that we may be getting the beta and to wait for information, well the announcement of the beta was around a month ago and still no word. Hence the lengths some of us are willing to go to. Although my wanting to play the beta has nothing to do with the online, it's more to do with it being the first chance to play the MGS 4 engine.

You havent done all the compulsary field. Your name isnt in Japanese. You may have used a non alphanumeric digit in your passwork like a dash/dot/something like that.

Jail Guard Posts: 1 Group: Members Member #7,077 Joined: April 3, 2008	Cheers man, youre a legend! a few notes about signing up if you get red errors: if youre constantly getting 氏名カナ(姓)にカナ以外の文字が入力されています。氏名カナ(名)にカナ以外の文字が入力されています。 it means that you're putting the wrong alphabet into the name box - japanese have 3 or so alphabets, and names arent allowed in hirigana on that site. Check here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katakana for some katakana glyphs and copy em in instead. but man, thanks a lot for this!

It's a Konami site, where Japanese players go to get their MGO Beta cards, rather than playing in the US. Albeit, it may be intended for Japanese use (and therefore may not work on European/US PS3 models). Either way, you aren't going to have to worry about the law coming down on you for getting an online beta code...
