Do you think the Socom given to Raiden is the one Snake used in Shadow Moses?

Think it would be a pretty cool link, Snake passing on his gun to his prodigey (Sp?) well for Big Shell he (Raiden) was anyway

EDIT: sorry if this has already been mentioned

I don't know but wasn't snake stripped of all his weapons just before fighting Liquid? He did retrieve his sneaking suit after but I don't think he had any more weapons equiped... otherwise he would've grapped his gun after the jeep ride with Liquid.

Gray_Snake is right. The only one of snake's weapons that made it outside were the FAMAS but it was used by Liquid. He only grabbed his sneaking suit because it was freezing outside i'm sure. Shadow Moses was set to blow so he was in a hurry. He probably just got another since it was really the trademark gun of MGS1 and MGS2 i suppose.

Well...the gun itself is readily available on the civilian market, plus it's a common sight in Special Ops (including SEAL) armories.
