Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was developed by Silicon Knights, a Western (Canadian) development team. Do you believe that if TTS was totally produced and developed by Konami and the MGS production team would make a difference for you and probably change the way you 'feel' about the game? Your opinions... |

i dont compare Silicon Knights to Konami in any way shape or form in fact i believe people are taking this ''distaste'' towards MGS1-Twin Snakes a little too seriously at times because both games have their fair shares of ups and downs..advantages and disadvantages but regardless of that---i think as fans of the series we should just be grateful to even have a ''remake'' of the game in the 1st place considering that it gives others who {dont have access to the ps1 version} a chance to get in touch with it---besides the ''matrix style cutscenes'' and the voice changes its not a bad game at all. {i just bought a Gamecube a few weeks ago just so i could own Twin Snakes} i've owned the original mgs1 integral for years and still play it from time to time but i also wanted to see the game the game from a better ''viewing'' perspective. |

Nope. TTS was essentially Metal Gear Solid 2, but in the real Shadow Moses, MGS 2 is my favourite game of the series and Shadow Moses is my favourite setting. With the cutscenes Kojima personally approved all the changes and actually threatened to stop development when the first cut of the cutscenes were identical to the originals. It would be the same end result either way, they would either piss off the die hard fans by being too different to the original or would annoy the critics for being too similar. Which is what happened with TTS. |

Can't say as I have never played the original. I am greatful there was a remake as I do not have a PS2 or PSOne any longer so owning a Wii gave me the opportunity to check the series out prior to picking up a PS3. Thank you Hideo Kojima!! |

No, didn't change anything. I love TTS and think Silicon Knights did a fantastic job with the remake. |
