1979 definitely! I wouldn't say the Johnny Cash cover of Hurt, but rather the NIN original. Also I'd have to say The Day The World Went Away by NIN. Such an epic song. |

Here's a little playlist for my funeral: Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis GG Allin - When I Die Toxic Holocaust - Death Brings Death Tom Waits - Flower's Grave Tom Waits - Whistlin' Past the Grave Yard T.S.O.L. - Code Blue X - Come Back To Me Fear - Beef Boloney Fear - More Beer Fear - Now You're Dead Sunn O))) - Cry For The Weeper Black Sabbath - Electric Funeral Suicidal Tendencies - Suicide's An Alternative/You'll Be Sorry St. Vitus - Burial At Sea Reverend Horton Heat - It's a Dark Day Nunslaughter - Altar of the Dead Nunslaughter - The Dead Plague Nunslaughter - Obsessed With the Visions of a Satanic Priest Amebix - Beyond the Sun Amebix - Drink and Be Merry Amebix - Last Will and Testament The Melvins - A History of Bad Men Burzum - Dunkelheit Danzig - Heart of the Devil Yeah, that's a little long. Either way, Danzig has to be the last thing heard at my funeral. That'd be a good way to go out. All my friends have to be there to do the absolutely ridiculous intro to Heart of the Devil as they put my coffin in the ground. Oh, and I don't want a normal funeral/burial, I don't want anything to do with Christianity at my funeral, and I want to be buried in one of those nature cemetaries. To be honest, I don't want a funeral. I would prefer it if they just took my body out to the woods (somewhere in nature. just not in a populated place) and just have them dump me in a hole and bury me. No need to mark the spot. Just leave me. I would much rather decompose with the dirt and the worms than slowly rotting and boiling in a coffin. Did you know that coffins actually explode underground because heat makes our bodies turn all gassy until we explode, actually ripping the coffin apart? Pretty cool, I agree, but I would rather decompose as fast as I can in the dirt, no coffin or anything. |

Grace by Jeff Buckley seems the nice option. Thoughts Of A Dying Athiest by Muse the slightly vindictive one. Going Underground by the Jam being the pisstake. Grace being by far the best song, so that wins. |

Talk To Me

Me and all my close mates have all vowed to have Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams as our Funeral song's, just in memory of each other and the time we spent together when we were younger, which is for me a touching thing. Even when I listen to the song now, its always a really emotional feeling.. Also, as A personal thing thought. I would also like to have Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd. Anouther song that I just fucking love, I would love to be remembered like that. Afterall, it was based to represent Syd Barrett's life or anybodys for that matter.. |

By the time I die I have no idea what I'll want playing at my funeral; I already listen to some pretty weird stuff as it is. At this point in time I'd say probably a few Godsmack songs, which ones specifically I don't know, but "Mama" would be one of them for personal reasons. Other than that, I really don't know. |

Always look on the bright side of life Well, seriously speaking, I don't really know. Maybe I'd just go with something like Wintersun - Sadness and Hate. Yeah... I think that'd be quite nice one. I don't want it to be anything cheesy. Another option would be to choose something absurd. In this case something ridiculously cheesy could work too (providing that people would get the joke). But no big deal to my right now, I don't intend to die in near future. |
