So, like, I found out that if you injure a KGB guy (not sure about spetsnaz) he will, after a while, treat himself!

You see him stretching, stitching and massaging. In MGS2 it was planned that an injured soldier was required to go to a medical ward and get bandaged up, but it was dropped. So they utilised MGS3's setting for it instead.

Yes, I remember this. I am pretty sure they injected themselves with something.

Death to the Patriots!

Shooting their radio is a crackup as well. I think its awesome how hard it is to sneak up on the kgb troops compared to mgs2.

I discovered on my like 8th playthroug that If you get an Alert at night, they shoot out flares to try and see where you are.

Really? That's pretty cool!

Yeah I seen like a guard stretching once, and then sitting gown on the ground to like treat his wounds. ^_^

hmm, I don't think I have noticed anything out of the ordinary....of course I don't notice much lol, but if i do I will post here! :)

yeah, sneaking up on the gaurds in MGS3 is kinda hard, i just run straight at em and grab them with my CQC before they can radio for help. Doesn't always work though.

I normally just hide and go around them, then for fun shoot the hell out of 'em when I get bored...

The best method is to run behind them. Stop a couple meters from them so they dont hear you , Then use the directional pad on the controller to creep extra slow and slice their necks.

I just finished the game by shooting the Kerotans so now I've got the stealth camo which is a whole step higher in terms of fun.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS2) - This game (along with its upgraded counterpart, Subsistence) features several usages of the code
Pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Square, and Triangle when the Konami logo first appears will cause it to flash, confirming the code. This will change the staff in the game's opening title sequence to display the "Opening Title Staff" - the staff who produced the title sequence.
When fighting The End, entering Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Square, and Triangle in the map viewer will show his location. The code needs to be entered each time the player looks at the map viewer. This only works on Normal difficulty setting or below.
Although not an actual cheat, using CQC to interrogate EVA near the end of the game will sometimes make her recite part of the Konami Code.
After finishing the game, when the Game Clear message is presented on-screen pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, O will makes Snake remark "One More to Go...".

I didn't know these.

To Live is to Suffer.

I've discovered that abut in 2005 when I first got the stealth, I would hold up guards shoot all their limbs out but leave them alive, knock out another guard and drag him over only to take him up and watch their reaction. MGS3 really did had some fascinating AI and is still better than alot.
But to survive is to find meaning in the suffering.

Peanut butter jelly time!

I think I saw one stretching on the ground when I was playing MGS3...I had just shot The End in the head at the warehouse and I shot the guard so he lost his rifle....Then when the evasion phase went off, I went near him (i hade the stealth camo equipped) and saw him stretching on the ground....First time I ever saw a guard doing that on the MGS-series....

About the End. I started playing Subsistence again on normal. Saved it. Played it like 2 weeks later, because I didn't want to battle the End again. So I saved it during the battle. Turned it on, and I see a cutscene with Snake sneaking up on him, turns out he had died. wtf!? I think that is interesting.

You obviously never read cheats, hints, or guides on MGS3. :D

They look like zombie in MGS2 if you shoot their radio, one leg and their right arm. They'll walk out so they can call an alert, but I've only seen them heal themselves in MGS3.
