Transformers 2 Will be a Revenge of the Fallen Source: ComingSoon.net June 5, 2008 DreamWorks/Paramount has confirmed that the full title for Michael Bay's sequel will be Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. The movie began shooting on June 2nd in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While details of the movie's plot a closely-guarded secret, expect a key character from the first movie to make a dramatic comeback and attempt to settle a score. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is scheduled for a June 26, 2009 release. |

I wonder if StarScream will come back, and do his own thing(lol) or find Megatron. But I don't know, cause SS always wanted to be lader, so he might just have something to control Megatron with. |

Hmm, I wonder if by "The Fallen" they actually mean the character The Fallen. If so, that would be odd, but tight at the same time. The Fallen was a badass in the comics, so if it was in the movie, it would probably cause some massive damage, and would be much more original than, say, Unicron. For those less hardcore TF fans, here is a picture of the Fallen:  I'm actually kind of hoping that it is referring to him. Some background information on the character: He was originally created by Primus to fight the first attack from Unicron, along with twelve other Transformers to man the planetary weapons. The Fallen turns against Primus and works with Unicron. A final battle destroys the twelve good Transformers, and sends The Fallen and Unicron into a black hole. Millions of years later, during a fight, Megatron and Optimus disappear through a testing spacebridge. With them gone, Cybertron fell into a dark age where Autobots and Decepticons nearly cease to exist. Instead, many different splinter faction appear. The Fallen returns to Cybertron because of the failed spacebridge test. He captures several Autobots and plans to reactivate Primus to alert Unicron, but is destroyed by Primus. ------- All in all, I'd say he is a very interesting character, but I think it may be too deep a story line for Michael Bay. The Fallen definetely looks amazing, and as you I hope he is in the movie. Maybe StarScream finds him or something? And he thinks he is boss, but The Fallen turns against him? What would be cool for me is this StarScream returns to Earth with a whole army of new Decepticons, and he somehow has something which he controls Megatron with. He finds Megatron and restores him, and thanks to this device StarScream would have, Megatron has to obey him. Optimus has found out about this and he makes The Fallen. After a battle The Fallen turns against Optimus, and he's one of the main enemy's then. And possibly the could end again showing a sequel coming. Cause the first movie was cool, and I'm positive this one will also. |

A dramatic comeback? Can't be Starscream, we know he's going to comeback, the end of the movie pretty much tells us that much. Megatron is the easy choice. Or perhaps Jazz? |

I see a dramatic comeback more as a bad guy coming back, or a new Autobot turning to the Decepticons. And it's possible yeah, I think they fixed Jazz. |

Fuck. I hated the first movie, to be honest, thought it was one of the worst 'blockbusters' I've seen (much to the hatred of everyone near me). I'm not gonna go see this. |

Man this is what I hate bout hollywood! The first film sucked. Dnt get me wrong the old series is a classic but the film was a reall let down. only good thing was optimus voice...brought back some memories that! but ye prob give it a look but its gonna let down like the first |

Hmm I wouldn't be surprised if the revenge was from that Sector 7 agent trying to bring back Sector 7 since how Michael hates to show the Transformers and just shows a good hour of humans. Maybe the deceptacons will actually have a conversation in this one. |

I can't wait. I'm a huge transformers fan. Now the movies are good but have nothibg on the old cartoons for sure. Still I mean i enjoy transformers.
