Say you have a game which has been ported from its original Sh*tbox 360 version to the much better PC. Do you use the default PC controls, or buy a USB 360 controller and use that as if you were playing on a console? |

pfft... mouse and keyboard FTW!!! But it also depends because if it was ported awkwardly (looks at control scheme of Tomb Raider: Anniversary) cause few games (like 3) feel comfortable with a controller (not fps though)... |

Yeah. Even 3PS get frustrating fast, sometimes. My current PC bother is Gears Of War. As amazing as it is, playing on a laptop using keyboard-mouse setup is a bit awkward at times. |

I just play gears of war on my 360... Usually if a game is intended for console it won't port properly to a keyboard and mouse configuration... |

I refuse to play the 360. I think it's a waste of gaming components, and each 360 could be reformed to make a perfectly good PS3 or two godly Wiis |

A 360 has a blu ray drive in it? jk... I enjoy my 360, never had any 'real' red ring of death problems, and I'm happy with the games supported by it Of-course I had to sacrifice a chance of playing mgs4 to get it, but no other exclusive game for the ps3 looked good to me.... But back on topic... It's funny sometimes I hook my 360 controller while playing crysis to remind me why I'm predominantly a pc gamer (ie gampad inhibit your accuracy and presicion)... Yeah. I can't stand using gamepads on PC FPS games like Halo, but for a lot of other things *coughAssassin'sCreedcough* I could see using a 360 controller just to make things easier. |

I even tried the demo of command and conquer for the 360... I really couldn't stand playing it like that, I don't even know how people could play it like that... An fps i can handle with a gamepad but an rts with gamepad is just retarded... |

Yeah. That's why, if I get it at all, I'd only get the console version of Civilization for the DS. At least with DS controls, things could be somewhat accurate, with unit selections, map movements, etc. |

I always use a 360 controller, I just like the feel of it more than any other controller except possibly Dreamcast, anyway, I don't really like PCs at all so using a 360 controller makes me feel like I'm playing a 360. Unless of course it's an RTS like codemaster mentioned. |

All games except racing games(which are boring anyway), specialized games(Guitar Hero) and Football games are better with keyboard+mouse. |

When I upgrade my computer, I'm going to try out a couple of FPS's on PC. I know this much though, the playstation controller was DESIGNED for playing Pro Evolution. No other hardware compares. |

Agreed. I use a PS2 knockoff pad for my CPU when playing PES; it's just superior in that regard. |

A mouse is a true gamer’s weapon, so much more precision than a analogue stick or D-pad. This is why it would never be fair to game online console vs. PC. The PC gamer would win 9/10…fact. However – on topic, I use a PS2/USB converter and use the Dual shock 2 on PC games that NEED a controller…like PES2008 or Race Driver Grid. |
