I'm assuming they meant it was written on the physical cd case that mgs came in. But I got the MGS essential collection so my copy came in a dvd case, not the cd case and it doesn't have the codex frequency written on it |

Well your question already got answered, but her frequency is still included with the Essentials collection, it's on the back of the box that holds all the games. |

Lol i was stuck at that part for ages; i had just gotten the optical disc at that time so i kept equipping it trying to look at it. Then i went to the computer room in the hangar to see if that worked!
