should be doing something else right about now.
I've been thinking about getting this for a while now and so far the best deals I've are 4 new copies on amazon starting at £23
I already have Snake Eater and was wondering if it is worth buying this? I've seen auctions for used copies on Ebay which start at roughly £2 but eventually go up to £20 which I dont think is worth it (pay a few pound extra to get a new copy)
I know it has the new camera, the spoof videos as well as the original MG and MG2. So tell me guys is it worth the money?

If you're a fan I think it's definitely worth your money. Also, I think 20 GBP is a little high, but still okay. Round here they sell for around 25 euros, so that comes close.

Oh well I guess I could take my chances with Ebay and hope to get lucky I suppose.

Sure man. They sell loads (well not loads, but still enough) of Subsistence on eBay. You just have to get a little lucky. Mostly when I'm searching hard for something every day, I don't find anything. Then later I accidently stumble on the object I am looking for, when I'm not even trying. Call it superstition, but it's often the case for me :)

Yeah theres a lot of copies of the original MGS on ebay as well as all the other ones and buyers go mental when trying to get their chosen copy (especially in the last minutes)and even if ya lose, there will always be other copies out there.

True. I use that tactic and it's a good one: Wait until the last 15 seconds or so to place a bid. Then raise your bid fast and it's 98% chance you win. Possible other bidders will try to raise your first bid while you're raising yours, and when they see you've placed a higher one, they're too late to raise again.

True.I always think its best to place ur maximum bid at £2 (2.5 Euro) so they'll really need to bid a high amount in the closing seconds and this along with the decreasing time, will make them more stressed on deciding how much to bid.

Eventually, it'll be worth alot more. Look at old Nintendo games. Now, some are considered "collectors items".

Anyway, I'd pay that much. :)

dude you can get it in Game or Gamestation for a tenner (depending where you live). perhaps value has risen? i doubt it'd be as high as some ebay ripoff merchants though, dont buy games off there.

This Tastes...HORRIBLE!!! Hungry for Some Snake?

Over here, EB Games has at least 7 copies of Snake Eater the last time I checked, all for under 15 Dollars. That's a good deal if you're not going for Subsistence, if you are, good luck finding a nicely-kept maybe even unopened one, for under a hundred, sometimes even more, dollars. Good thing I got mine for 25 dollars, last copy I could find on my side of the state. :D :D

Of course ^^ But our currency worth more, so therefore everything sounds more expensive, but to us it's a normal price for a game that is new to the stores =)
