The story makes as much sense as it should do. It's a bit rough around the edges concerning ret-cons and certain plot holes but nothing is ever perfect.

Was it for show? Also, is Dr. Madnar the same one from MG1 and MG2? Why mention that name and then give us no explanation at all. We were supposed to have no unanswered questions. Jail Guard Posts: 89 Group: Members Member #7,624 Joined: May 31, 2008	listen, its the final one, im a huge fan...i really dont want the last one to be 'rough around the edges' or missing something...holes or watever! nah not to deep...thats how i like em...this is y im a fan of mgs!...but this went OTT. thanks FAJISTE for understanding...the title of this topic is light hearted to get the message across but, if i could contact them, i would! EDIT now im reading more plot holes...the one about dr madner. its to much... i like speculating but, only on certain types of story...for example, a david lynch movie...there anti-climatic, designed to be speculated about...MGS is not. I honestly don't think we should go as far as bloody contacting Kojima production concerning the storyline. Especially if it's about trivial things such as Eva reacting the way she did. It could of easily been for show, it's not a massive burning question that has a massive bearing on the outcome of the plot. The Dr.Madnar is a little less trivial, but seriously - only a little.

Jail Guard Posts: 89 Group: Members Member #7,624 Joined: May 31, 2008	NULL yes but, wen i play through it again, that scene at the end of act 3 will have no imapct on me and i will just look at it dumb founded...thts great for a final chapter isn't it...:-\| u didn't get that with previous mgs games...u could finish them n replay them still getting impact from each scene...mgs4 just made all look a bit silly...it just seems kojima has got muddled up in his own muddles lol. how can we play through our fave games like mgs1-3 again knowing that the outcomes in mgs4 get a bit silly and how they tell u 'there true intentions of the past'...just ruins past instalments. i always thought that since MGS kojima had got a little too caught up in his own hype...just look at what mgs2 became... it isn't just me who thinks this...alot of ppl are upset for the same reasons... on facebook: Will Daybell (Chantilly High) wrote at 6:19pm wtf was up with mount rushmore being carved onto that submarine? literally, like right after the AWESOME thing in act 4, yall know what im talkin about, i just kinda lost hope in the game. it went like super over the top. i just hope Hideo comes out with a like a cleaner and a better put together MGS4 like MGS3 snake eater, to MGS3 subsistance hes a genius sure, i thank him for all his effort but, he is human and im sure hes made mistakes here. Some things are a bit sketchy, but do you expect the game to sort out EVERY... SINGLE detail that you haven't figured out yet? The game has sorted out everything that was necessary IMO. The only thing i don't know is what happened to Raiden for him to become a cyborg. I'm disappointed that it wasn't cleared up (if anyone knows please tell me!) but i'm not going to send a letter of complaint to Hideo about it! Just maybe he's thinking of another game...

Answering every last little detail of everything would have added needless length certain cutscenes that are already very stretched. Discussion is good, and if everything was answered, it would leave little left to discuss.

Nothing. Snake didn't even show any sign that the name sounded familiar to him..when it should have. I got so excited when they mentioned Madnar, and then pissed off because it seemed like no one knew who he was, when Snake IS supposed to know.
